Is this german dark raichu a misprint?

sorry if this is the wrong forum, didn't know where else to ask

well I got this german dark raichu (from the original team rocket set) that looks a bit odd, the faint bolt of lighning that extends across his chest and tail turns the affected part of his tail transparent rather than recoloring it. Instead, the tail is divided in two and seperated from raichu's body, allowing the hollo background to show instead. And by the way, the evolution box is lightly colored, but as far as I can tell, thats nothing special

I'm having trouble finding information on the german version, so I have no idea if this is common or not. I dont know how to upload images or whatever, so just bear with me.
 
You can see in the above image where the lightning bolt makes his tail (on the left) a bit lighter than the surrounding parts. In the card I have the bright part of the tail is nonexistant: the holo background replaces the portions of his tail which are normaly lightened by the lightning.

you should be able to see what I'm talking about, his tail sorta looks like its torn in the image
 
Ah, I see.
I suppose it is a misprint, but it's the kind of misprint that someone could make with solvent.
Not really worth more.
 
well I pulled this right out of the pack, and the error is in the exact outline of the lightning. I doubt anyone could get it this perfectly. But oh well. guess Its not worth much anyway
