According to the new game informer (May issue) the team that brought us the X-Men Legends series isn't working on a sequal. While you would think this is horrible news if you are a fan of the series, its actually pretty good news. Instead they are working on a game called Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. It uses the same basic engine as X-men Legends, but uses 20+ characters from the Marvel universe.

The game is slated for Winter '06 for not only PS2, PSP and XBox but also PS3 and XBox360 (with improved graphics and game engine) internet support and up to 4 player co-op (which was in the Xbox and PS2 versions of XL2). Though it seems they have shunned the Cube and Revolutions, which really blows for those without the other systems by then, but it isnt enough to stop me from owning this awsome looking game!!!
