The Kyoger and Groudon sounds awsome but you have to play the in the decks for each team other wise their worthless in a deck so now the decks wont be so EX dependant and the Pre-release wont be who ever can pull the best EX pokemon has an ad vantage so thats good to know. Thanks for the info that should come in handy for the Pre-release those probably would'nt be the best thing to draft.

thanks, Oak

Yes they are terrible and worthless the only people that will put them in decks are mostly going to be nubies at the game just because their legendary pokemon an they think they are all power full. Until they find out what they realy do.

I'm going to make a deck with 2 kyogre and 2 groudon and 56 psychic energy!

I don't know if they're so terrible. There are not too many pokemon in this format that are basic, 100 HP, 3 nrg for 50 or more AND ARE NOT EXS! But because of their powers they can't be teched or anything. We will have to see how playable but they are powerful. Prime, if you made a deck of just 2 Kyogre and 2 Groudon then neither could attack. ;)

Sorry, but I have a picture of those cards in front of me and neither are ex's. Here's another card that I have a picture of:

Team Magma's Aggron 120hp
Stage 2 This pokemon is both fighting and dark type

(F)Crush 30x
Flip a coin for each Energy attached to Team Magma's Aggron. This attack does 30 damage times the number of heads.

(F)(F)(C)(C)Land Stream 50+
You may discard any number of Basic Energy cards attached to Team Magma's Aggron. If you do, this attack does 50 damage plus 20 more damage for each basic Energy card you discarded.

Weakness (G)(W) Resistance (none) Retreat (C)(C)

And Team Aqua's Walrein looks a little skinny compared to the one on the game.

Hehe, I have a deck that that Aggron will fit nicely into.:thumb:

What I like about DRE is that it DOESN'T really help the big decks. Gives rogue decks a chance. (Usually just by speeding them up, like for Shiftry or something)

OOOOOH..... That Aggron has a Magcargo-esque attack. You can do straight 50 or you can discard all to ko almost anything. His first attack looks like Boost could add to it.

By any chance, would any cards from EX: The Broken Seal could come out early because the Arbok, Aerodactyl ex and many more had come in the previous set?
I was so excited about the Castforms and the Regis ex.

And don't forget, it's dark as well. Who wouldn't have dark in their deck with any of these pokemon inside? Looks interesting, depends upon the pre-evolutions whether I'll use it or not.

If this darka nd fighting type aggron attacks gengar, how do you calculate the damage? I don't have a rule book so I don't know which one applies first.

most likely, you would calculate the damage with weakness. It does say on the card that its both (D) and (F), so you would treat it as both types. In other words, you would still add weakness because it is a (D) type.

and then you would apply resistance, cause the gengar is resistant to fighting

o yea and

"OOOOOH..... That Aggron has a Magcargo-esque attack. You can do straight 50 or you can discard all to ko almost anything. His first attack looks like Boost could add to it."

not only that but the attack is scalable

50+no discard=50
50+1 discard=70
50+2 discard=90
50+3 discard=110
50+4 discard=130

and did you guys see the first attack? GOD I WISH I COULD STILL PLAY MY FAVORITE COMBO CARD OF ALL TIME, MEGANIUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No you couldn't because Meganium's power only works for grass pokemon.
