JAA team desicions

Okay! here's how I've been doing it.I've been splitting up the 510 EV's how I see fit, Like below?

Ludicolo EV plan

HP-120
ATK-120
DEF-120
SP.ATK-15
SP.DEF-15
SPEED-120

Is that all right, or am I ****ing up all over cuz I've been doing it for everyone.

PS-How can i tell if I got good IVs from a hatch?
Ludicolo is more of a sponge/special sweeper, so take the attack EVs and put them into sp.defense and sp. attack. Assuming you're using a swift swim Ludicolo, also lessen the EVs you put into speed.

I d on't know how good of an idea it is to have Sunny Day AND a water move (surf) in the same moveset.. especially if you plan on having kyogre which has the drizzle ability. Sunny day, while it's good for solar beam, will just weaken the overall power of your water team.

I'm planning to keep solarbeam, Giga drain just sux!
Does anyone have details on how to determine IVs or wait...Doesn't the old man in the battle fronteir tell you that?

Use serebii's IV calculator. A link can be found (beware, they don't have the underline) at the top of the IV guide. Also, you want to spend 2 turns and not heal? Nono, I don't think so. =/ I also think Rain nullifies Solarbeam also.

Don't worry bout it :thumb:

And yeah, I think when it's raining it takes solar beam 2 turns to charge, and then releases on the 3rd

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Problem, I used my Giga drain on the parent Ludi! And will Mind reader+focus punch work?

Yeah, but the opponent will prob. switch out their poke after seeing you use mind reader.
Meaning even if they smack me in mid attack I'll still punch em'?(and I meant focus punch, where you tighten your focus on turn one and attack after)

Actually, doesn't focus punch have 100% accuracy? Then I suppose mind reader would have nothing to do it. A good combo would be for one of your other pokes (one high in def, spdef, hp) to use Follow Me so the opponent can only attack that poke and then focus punch will hit
