Japanese items

hey guys.

I recently came across a large stash of Japanese items dating back in Pokemon time. Without pics at this time, I am hopiing that someone can give me a little bit of an idea what some of them are and may be worth.

Japanese Vending sheets- several different numbers and pics on them with cards still attaached.

Ancient Mew cards inside a book/folder with Lugia on the cover.

2 hand books with a Grand Party stamp on the cover and an Exeggutor promo inside that is written in Japanese and English.

Coro Coro magazines with promos still inside including 2 with Unown R.

Got a bunch more but its a start.

Any help would be appreciated.:thumb:

When you get a chance to upload pics, do so. It would make this much easier. Anyhow, here is what I personally think (an what eBay completed listings/current bids have to say) these items could sell for:

Vending sheets - could grab anywhere from $5-$10 per sheet, depending on which series they are from. Series 2 is the most popular one.

Sealed Ancient Mew - could fetch anywhere from $20-$50 dollars. Such a difference in price is because it depends on if you have the corrected Ancient Mew in the folder, which is apparently worth more. With a pic I could tell you if it was the more valuable one.

Bilingual Exeggutor - goes for about $5-$10 by itself, however if it is sealed in the package with the grand party stuff, you could probably fetch $30-$40 with the right buyer.

Which coro coro magazines do you have sealed? If it is the Shining Mew one, then you sir have a very nice item that would fetch a pretty penny. Unkown R's could probably sell for $15-$20 a pop.

Let me know what else you got!

I have done some research on the vending sheets. i have a few different colored backgrounds, and i do know that the number in the lower right corner tells what number in the series it is. about all i got
although i am unsure how to distinguish which ancient mew is which, I have 2 different ones. 2 of them look like all the other ones I have seen throughout the years, and one has a strange confetti like holo treatment instead of the usual start type pattern.
The coro coro books all show the promo that is inside the book, and sadly i dont have the mew one. the ones i have include scizor, cleffa, unown r, a giant entei and a giant pikachu/pichu card.
The grand party books are kinda neat. the book looks to be talking about some sort of tournaments in japan. and the card looks to have one of the unusual chracters that must be the trainers from the day. they are still with their paper envelope for whatever that is worth.
I also found some manuals for the original Game Boy trading card game with Venusaur promo inside. All still sealed.
I know that pics would make things a great deal easier, but with my limited time and limited ability to post them, its tough. hopefully i can get some help from my son soon.

thanks for your help on this.

If you can read the bottom of the Ancient Mew cards, you can figure out if they are the error cards or the corrected cards. If you can see the bottom, use this review and it will let you know which Mew you have.

As for the coro coro books, the Cleffa is not very rare, and would only fetch maybe $10. Scizor is also pretty common, so I would say $10-$15 for that one. The Entei/Pikachu cards however, are very nice. I could easily see you grabbing $25-$30 a piece for those. Just to reiterate, these prices are only for sealed cards, not individuals.

The sealed Venusaur's would easily go for $30 a piece. How many of the sealed Venusaurs do you have?

The Japanese Vending sheets Series #1 came with Blue backs, Series 2 came with Red backs and Series 3 came with Green backs........Each series had sheets number 1 thru 18....If you had all 18 sheets of a set, you would get a complete set of that series plus a few extra common cards.......Series 3 is generally considered the most popular...The early Series 3 set was part of an Evolution campaign. The Series 3 vending sheets had cards that could be sent away(Kadabra, Haunter,Graveler,Machoke,Omanyte plus a Bill's PC) to get the one of the 5 Japanese Masaki holos(Alakazam, Gengar, Golem, Machamp & Omastar),,,Series 3 sheets include 3 cards plus a special card with a non standard back. They special cards had game rules and deck ideas...
