Japan's Nationals/Tournament Info

I will be doing a study abroad program in Tokyo, Japan. As a result, I will be missing out on this years USA National Championships. I will be there from early July to mid/late August and was wondering if anyone had any information on what tournaments might be there? I would think playing there would be an awesome once in a lifetime kind of experience. Any help or links are greatly appreciated.
