Not adopting the "Goods" term appears to have been a very good if all of those Goods are about to go back to being called Trainers.
Discarding Supporters immediately removes quite possibly the greatest deterrent to misplays and cheating that I can possibly think of. Having a Supporter sitting right next to your Active Pokemon is a game state check, and it makes it a TON more difficult to accidentally play down two Supporters in one turn.
Perhaps, like how our cards did not adopt the term "Goods," we will continue to get the Supporter text on our Supporters.
The use of Powers and Bodies made it really simple to determine which effects required activation and are optional and which effects were automatic and mandatory. Why put them back together?
Heck... I'm not a young player and I can't quite wrap my head around what will happen if they decide bodies and powers are the same thing if Dialga G lv.x and power spray are still in the format....
Assuming merging them back together is the same as remaking Pokemon Powers, shouldn't it happen the same way it is currently handled when a Power/Body meets a Pokemon Power?
Pokemon Power = "Poke-Power + Poke-Body". If the card doesn't say both of those, it doesn't affect a Pokemon Power. However, because Pokemon Powers are made up of both of them, a card that affects Pokemon Powers affects both.
Pretend your asking me for two fruits, apples and oranges. If you tell me you want an apple, I don't give you both or just oranges. However, if you tell me you want fruit, I give you both.
So, Dialga G lvX Time Crystal cannot shut down a Pokemon Power (fruit), like Playful Punch, because it says it just wants Bodies (so, only oranges). Power Spray cannot shut down a Pokemon Power (fruit), like Playful Punch, because it says it wants Powers (so, only apples). However, Muk from the Fossil set shuts down Dialga G lvX because Muk wants Pokemon Powers (fruit), which is the name of the group that Powers (apples) and Bodies (oranges) are classified under.
The Zzzap attck, from Holon Phantoms Raichu, reads
"Does 20 damage to each Pokemon that has any Poke-Powers or Poke-Bodies (both yours and your opponent's). Don't apply Weakness or Resistance."
This attack hits Pokemon that have Pokemon Powers because it has specified both of the subclasses that make up a Pokemon Power, therefore affecting the entire class.
