So I was grounded from the previous 2 weekends of cc's so i didnt have a lot of practice and didnt know waht to play. So i calll up my trusty friend tyler and try to find out what everyones playing so me and justin can be prepared, but mommarock hangs up the fone on him and i forget to call him back(middle of a fun game) After the tewkberry cc finishing third with zone, i thought id stick with my gut and play it again, only taking out one magneton for an unknown v(heals spread like obama) and the same old palkia jazz which made it broken. I played it cuz...like.... its tha play.
Round 1 Vs Houndoom/ttar/sabelye/dol
He had an okay start to my 2 turn magnetless one. once i get the magnets in play, palkia messes everything up for him , but he usually had a switch when it counted. he surprised me with doom(fire one oh boy) doing 120 to my zone x when it had no metel. so i palkia up his dol and use the snipe/search zone to hit ttar twice and then i bring up doom and ttar for 2 more ko's. at the end if i had used too many powers i woulda lost on a misplay rite there, but i was thinking straight and pulled it out safely by 5 prizes(he coulda taken at least 4 with 1 spinning tail) GG man sorry i forgot the name.
round 2 vs John Rock w/ Obamaplox.
So i get a whacky start to his t1 plox with mesprit and play my v down too soon. he holds the plox for the 3 turns ot took him to kill my v, along with a magnemite and a baltoy that i couldnt evolve so he was 3 prizes up. the minute i drop dol and evolve my magneton, i make a huge setup with dol and uxie powers to get down 2 zone dp's and palkia about to be ready. it looked like he was winning since he had 2 moonlight and 4 warp nrgs and other stuff to bug me so i thought i was done. after his dol was gone there was nothiing he either didnt want active or couldnt just free retreat with moonlight and my other quarry was prized. Therefore, i make a desperate move bringing up his spiritomb and using spacial rend(palkia dp/md?) and dropping the moonlight. this gave me another turn to hit an energy finally and i pulled out the win thanks to that. GG John, madd close game.
round 3 vs pj w/ raichu
My least favorite matchup. he starts with pichu/ call and doesnt get a dol till turn 6 and a chu x until turn 4, but i had a hard time getting palkia x since i prized both it and zone x and my bench was full. thankfully, he ko's my dol and hits zone and i get moving taking out his chu x twice.... then hes about to get the third one and the pika is charged with rotom and i have 2 prizes left. At this point i have not touched a single candy and have only had 2 zones out. i ko his rotom and he prizes chu # 3 thank goddd. since he killed palkia i had a warp in hand and a zone and the nrg i needed to win ( his whole bench was either resistant but with 60 hp or 80hp or lower) so i play my hand out and hoold zone dp and draw my 5 ........3 candies. i candy zone ko his plusle for the win . Sorry you couldnt have gotten the third chu man.
round 4 vs gino w/ champ/palkia.
we both get okay starts, but i started with unknown g and ended up using 2 attachments just to get a magnet and toy out so it was gonna take another 3 turns to be fighting. he takes an early lead, but pulls away too much for a comeback and he wins by 4 prizes. gg gino.
So apparently im lucky and i get t2 with gino for a second chance. Here we go...
Game 1. I get HORRIBLE start with only t2 'ton and a quarry and nrg. lucky for me, he misses me with his punch attack only getting 1/4 heads twice doin 40 (spec metal) and misses completely once. My topdecks are okay with candy dol in hand but nada else. i top deck uxie eventuall and it gets me a rosy's with sets me up in the next 2 turns. i used uxie with g to attack a lot and he had to punch it to ko it. it came down to i win if uxie survives and as gino rolls the dice i go, 2 or less please. After looking at it, hes like "How about )." and scoops. Sorry man not fair but thats flips for ya.
game 2. I get a godd start with t2 zone snipe and get misses the donk by a switch. i candy snipe start getting stuff with dol hve 3 magnets in play with plakia/g'd on the second turn which was nice. however, he topdecks the switch sends up his champ puts 2nd nrg on it and champ x's and rolls the dice ONE MORE TIME. he had to hit 2 to take out zone or else i lock him down with zone x/warp/palkia x pull champ back up and discard a call to ko it. he gets 4 tails again for the THIRD TIME and scoops. Sorry Gino, no coming back from that.
GINO'S Top 2 ROLL RATIO (Heads to tails) 2: 20 = 1:10 = ummm not so fair man.
