Well I know it looks odd but this is my first draft. The Strategy of the deck is to
drag up you opponents prevos and knock them out with kabutops before they can evolve. with houndoom on the bench you will severly slow them down... you have the 3 stadiums that can/will disrupt every deck in the metagame. and with holons ff you wont have to worry about resistence or weakness. lock in the stadium of choice and then drag off any basics. with out transcievers or rare candy you will have a good chance of setting up.

comments and suggestions on how to make it better.

Just one thing I have noticed, you run a 4-3-4 Kabutops line, but no Rare Candy. You will need to find room for 2-4.
Also, another Houndoom would be nice.

4 Houndoom isnt really needed as long as you dont play down the fourth houndoor. He just doesnt wanna mulligan alot because the point of this deck is to slow them down as much as possible. Starting with Houndour wouldn't be all that bad.

I like this deck I think it has alot of potential. Only thing I might change is

-1 Strange Cave
+1 Scott

You really only need strange cave for 1 turn anyway so theres no point in running two of them. You can just rare candy all the other Kabutops. Plus Scott gets out the other stadiums you could need.

With strang cave i wouldnt need the candy...but in order for houndoom's body to be active i need to keep my bench low, so four rare candy seems like over kill, but since i wont use that many houndoom i can drop a houndoom and 2 holon ff but imma add a fire because t1 posion is so mean

I really like this cause the match-ups are so simple

Raieggs=Lock The Crystal Beach Then Drag Up The Energy less eggs and castforms for 6 easy prizes
Metanite=Lock the Battle frontier, and drag dragonites before they can evolve. then let houndoom take care of metagross
Flygon= Same as metanite drag the vibravas befor they can evolve and then cursed stone against alteria FTW
ect...

More suggestions welcome...

Your list is inconsistant. 4-3-4 Kabutops, 3 or 4 Rare Candy, 2-2 Houndoom. 4 Reversals because you have a LOT of room in this deck and when you lock something active and they can't evolve it you are at an advantage. Get a few Scrambles, as both Kabutops and Houndoom can use them effectively.

Also, I'd say drop Houndoom and go with something else. Aerodactyl d for one makes this deck very consistant and quick. Espeon EX something on the bench and Drag it to the active spot will also probably buy you a turn, allowing you to build up another line in the meanwhile.

You can play kabutos straight onto your bench if theres a strange cave in play.

i know that, but with 2 strange cave in your deck, not too good of chances you will get it out in the first few turns, then they can just counter-gym you and you wouldnt be able to lay down any more Kabutops, GG.

i ran a fossil deck, and honestly, if you are not going for the mysterious fossils, you HAVE to go 4 holon fossil 3-4 Strange Cave.

You need the fossils othewise you have a houndour start everytime with many many mulligans...

To the deck, two words... Space Center! Lati@s lock would shut down everything you are trying to do... I would probably drop the houndoom line down to a 2-2 or a 3-3 max... I dunno how much you wanna start with houndour.

I still think you're gonna need another support line. 4-4 Houndoom just shouldn't be run and I was thinking about it and Espeon ex could be really good in this.

Sure, you can't run cursed stone but the point of the deck is to stop them before they get their evolutions out. Pre-vo's dont have powers anyway so Cursed Stone is droppable for other stadiums.

4-3-4 Kabutops
2-2 Houndoom
2-2 Espeon ex

devolve a benched threat, trap it up with Kabutops and just dont allow them to evolve it again. Stage ones and basics dont have more than 80 hp anyway so just use the first attack then next turn its pretty much auto KO on whatever you feel was a threat. Let's be honest, Kabutops cant really handle a fully powerd stage 2 so you're gonna need to devolve them to their basic form or stage 1 to handle them. Espeon ex seems reasonable to me.

you've got the idea down pact... but 4-3-4 because i will only ever play2-3 kabutops in a game because, houndoom requires the bench to stay low... and with 2 rare candy and 2 strange cave i should be able to get out 1 consistently... i like the idea or 4 strange cave no fossils because i could drop race candy and fossils and fit in a 2-2 espeon tech which is pretty nice along with more trainers for consistency

I think er2 can help, and scramble energy or dre might be of use to your deckalso battlefrointer? Why not play holon legacy? .Other wise your deck is very good, I would like to make my own now, good luck with it.:pokeball:

every one keeps saying lata lock... but i've only seen 1 deck run it... and it didnt do too well. what decks run the lata lock? its just an easy prize... drg up the low hp latias/latios then next turn ko it. The holon ff gets around resistence 30+60=ko on latias or latios and strength charm =ko on ex...2prizes
