Well, I had this idea and was wondering what other people thought of it before getting the cards to attempt it.

Pokemon: 18
2 Kabuto (MD)
3 Kabutops (MD)
2 Mareep
1 Flaaffy
2 Ampharos (SW)
2 Baltoy
2 Claydol
3 Phione
1 Chatot

Trainers: 26
3 Roseanne's Research
4 Rare Candy
4 Celio's Network
3 Professor Oak's Visit
2 Fossil Excavator
2 Team Galactic's Wager
2 Night Maintenance
3 Dome Fossil
2 Warp Point
1 Lake Boundary

Energy: 16
6 Fighting Energy
4 Lightning Energy
2 Scramble Energy
4 Call Energy

Start with Phione or Chatot and try to get Claydol out as fast as you can. Then, with Claydol's power helping you draw, get out an Ampharos and start punishing them for using supporters. Throughout this, you should also build up a Kabutops for attacking with.
With Kabutops denying trainers, and Ampharos hurting them for using supporters, your opponent should be in for a rough time.

I like it for the most part, but swap out the Chatot and Tauros for 2 more Pachi. Getting out your Baltoy and Mareep as fast as possible is crucial to the deck's success. What would be even better is dropping the Pachis, Chatot, and Tauros for 4x Phione (evo wish) and dropping 2x Lightning Energy, 1x Wager, and 1x Warp Point for 4x Call Energy.

Make it 3 kabuto so u can use candies for late game and use 2 phione because u cannot get dome with pachi and play DRE's for the t2 factor even though it doesnt make u spread u probally wont have ampharous out. JMO

Phione/Call would be a better starter, as Pachi can't grab Fossils.

I'd recommend keep it at 2 Kabuto.
