yeah. I remember seeing that card before, and wondering who did that... anyone know how he was given the priveledge of making a card for Pokemon and nobody else was?

Well I do know that Rush was on the Creative Team for Magic a few years back. Might coincide with his creative decision to get himself the job of illustrating this piece. He definitely had some kind of pull back then...if he could get his work into Pokémon, maybe he can finally get textboxless basic land cards into Magic. Or at least smaller text box sizes...
