Kenosha, WI Battle Road-06/23!!!

Beloit was 3.01today, so they're coming down a bit. Hopefully the trend will continue, to help your event attendance. Gas prices can really be quite an influencing factor, sadly.
 
A couple days away, I hope you all are ready....we will be handing out some nice pokemon stuff and I believe that there will be a couple of new players who don't know the new rules or game mechanics well, so I hope all you experienced players who will be playing against them will be able to help them out... can't wait to see you guys there!!!

P.S. Gas prices are still slowly going down, we are at 2.96 in the city...just thought i should mention it...lol​
 
LOL. 2.85 down here, and falling. Dropped about 16 cents in the last week...
 
Rich, Jeremiah, Gunner, and I intend to show up. We might bring some one else depending on how much room we have in the car. What are the prizes? I'm just curious because this is my 1st and probably last Battle Road of the season.
 
Oh, and with the confirmation on Niles, I'm definately going to be in Kenosha.

Anyway, as the Battle Road is coming up really fast, I want to make sure that people who are traveling into the city for this event is aware that there is some construction going on on I-94 coming into Wisconsin from the Illinois border, so give yourself enough time and drive carefully for those of you who will be driving from that part of the area. Also people are allowed to bring in chips or cookies, little snacks and drinks if you would like, but the library does reserve the right to ask you to please eat any other type of food outside, to keep the space clean. We have some nice things to give away, so I hope to see you all soon!!

Yeah, 94 has been on construction on and off for the past 15 years....
 
Yeah, thats true I-94 has always been on construction...I don't disagree with you on that..:thumb:

Hey, Abe. I'm a little confused as to where this place is, exactly. I tried Google Maps this morning, and it said that the library was on the north side of town. Checked again, and it put it at the corner of 27th and 81st. I used Mapquest, searching for Northside Public Library, and came up with the same addy in a different zip code from the first, placing it at the corner of 27th Ave and 14th Pl. The OP site has 53142 listed as the zip code, but Mapquest has 53140. Which one is it? Thx for the help!
 
the address is 1500 27th ave, its the northside library, if you need further help this link has the info of the library and i believe a google map. I may have gotten the zip code mixed up, but i hope this helps.

So I went 0-3

Losing tp Rob, chriscobi, and Jeff Vernola. They are all high class players so can't fell too bad.


Senior Results: Total Players-3-----3 rounds straight swiss. We all played Raieggs by the way. But Jeff's and Chris's were teched whereas mine was straight up chu eggs.

Thanks guys for the kind words, they mean alot, I wasn't bothered much about the attendance, I just wanted to get you guys out of there before we were gonna get kicked out....lol, and we finished up fine, with 1 and 30 mins to spare...I hope to have more exciting things for next time, i should have the results posted by tues. Thanks again guys!!!!
