Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Krookodile and Kingdra

They're both stage 2s (but hey, so are Serperior and Reuniclus) meaning set-up will be slow and shaky, but I reckon Krookodile and Kingdra Prime have synergy. Spray Splash can instantly damage a fresh new defending pokemon allowing Krookoroll to pretty much wreak chaos. Torment- for a DCE- can stall whilst developing. It probably won't see top tables but do you reckon it can work competitively?

Well, with proper timing, you can KO something with Spray Splash and then Torment whatever comes in so I guess it could work MAYBE? Krookoroll is also an option.

I personally like Krookodile better with Ampharos Prime. Ampharos sets up Krookoroll, and really helps against energy acceleration decks like Emboar and Feraligatr.

I was also thinking of building a deck with this very idea. I think that it could work very well. I feel though that it really needs a good draw engine as to get the cards needed. Speed is an issue but if set up it really can wreak havoc.

i also agree with the krock + amphy prime. it is also VERY GOOD against any emboar varent, as well as machamp/ donphan, since you can torment earthquake! i play defenders in my build so zekrom does close to nothing.

I am trading cards so I can build two decks HGSS-on, a leafeon variant and Krookodile.

I think Krookodile needs speed so that you can torment T2

Just to chime in again about this deck idea. I think if built right it really could see some top tables for a few reasons.
1. Tyranitar and Zekrom are weak to :fighting: and will be OHKO'd by a krookroll set up by spray splash
2. Torment can be used to stall very well against a Reshiram by not letting it use Blue Flare then krookroll for the KO
3. If teched with something like zoroark or bouffallant revenge a KO'd Krookodile will not be a travesty

However I do see where this deck could have trouble
1. Set up. If this deck is not set up to draw well it will have a very hard time period.
2. A very unfavorable match up would be a DonChamp deck. I say this because Donphan can start to hit for 60 much sooner. But with Krokorok's torment could prevent this. Also Kingdra could also help in this match up if able to get it out soon enough.
3. It is weak against :water:. This could be a problem with Feralgatr prime decks trying to compete with Reshiram decks.

A Kingdra Prime with 1 pluspower can take care of 2 Donphan right?

Yeah I think so if the Kingdra was fresh and one of the donphans was not able to do heavy impact. Because then at most I think Kingdra would get 60 done to it by the second Donphan.

While I love the idea of this deck, hitting for between 60-110 per turn for 4 energies is a difficult set up, especially with 2 stage 2's in there and it will be extremely Pokemon heavy. Another idea might be to start with Absol Prime to put damage counters on your opponent as they set up. If Kyurem is loaded with a 120 attack like his compatriots, it might cause some trouble with the Feraligator mentioned by Rev.
