So this is the deck I'm taking with me to Nationals because it fits my budget but is theoretically effective.

Pokemon: 19
3-2-3 Krookodile BW
3-3 Lanturn Prime
2 Elekid
1 Tyrogue
2 Cleffa

Trainers
Items: 14
4 Pokemon Communication
3 Switch
3 Rare Candy
4 Junk Arm

Supporters:14
4 Judge
3 Pokemon Collector
2 Copycat
2 PONT
1 Elm's Training Method
1 Twins
1 Flower Shop Lady

Energy:
6 Fighting
3 Lightning
4 DCE

Strategy:
Get a Lanturn out too attack while you set up a Krookodile or 2, then keep them under pressure with Torments and Krookorolls. Cleffa helps set up, Elekid spreads around damage while you set up, Tyrogue is my anti-baby pokemon tech.

Thoughts?

Without me thinking too much, and without any testing evidence to back my incoming opinion up, this deck - well the premise of it at the very least - really seems like a nice magneboar/reshiboar counter. I'm afraid it would end up folding to water due to ampharos being flippy and all, but overall this deck has nice coverage.

Maybe put in Zekrom over Ampharos? idk, it just seems that Ampharos is only situationally effective.

Krookodile will always feel slow due to the 4 energies for his Krookoroll. PONT's > Junipers since you're only running 6 fighting energy imo. do not want to be discarding those attempting to set up, could mean u can drop Flower Shop Lady in use for something else, perhaps another twins, perhaps another PONT.

As fun as Ampharos is, why not run lanturn prime instead. switch to water if need be, still has a decent attack, works with an energy heavy krookodile setting up on ur bench.

Anyway, take it or leave it, just something I thought about when checking the list.

Yeah, I've been thinking about this as well. I re-edited the list to by swapping Ampharos out for Lanturn. adding some cleffa, and swapping Juniper out for PONT. Anything else that could be done?

I say Absol prime is a Viable option for this deck also Kingdra prime for Donphan. So I say run kingdra over all cus IMO it let's you Krookoroll consistently.

I use Krookoroll for his first attack only.... The ability to stop an attack is so sick in current
Format.... The 2 fighting dce is so steep for maybe 100 damage, best to stale and as long as it's not a reshi zekrom than it's first attacks all you need, I've been looking at mixing it with a strong stage 1 but haven't found anything solid yet in BW

do u do plaaytcg? im sorry but a deck like that will lose :/ krookodile stage 2 and lanturn a stage 1 it might hurt, and donphan will revenge and beatup that lanturn, i would do reiunclus and krookodile with donphan

it seem like a good deck i might want to try it out. if i make the deck i might post it. if i do post my deck. u should check it out. just look for my name.
