Kyurem PLF and Mesprit PLB

Lets say you have Kyurem PLF with two water energy with two Deoxys-EX in play on your side of the field. Deoxys-EX's Ability Power Connect adds 10 more damage to each of your Plasma Pokemon's attacks before weakness and resistance, excluding Deoxys-EX. Your opponent has a Active Landorus-EX with a Water Weakness, and a Mesprit PLB with 30 Damage, Azelf PLB, and Uxie PLB on their bench. Mesprit's Ability Mentral Shroud gives Pokemon in your field no weakness as long as the trio is in play. Let's say Kyurem PLF is about to use it's Frost Spear for [W][C], which does 30 damage and 30 damage to any bench Pokemon. Kyurem PLF will choose to knockout the Mesprit PLB, but does Kyurem PLF naturally do 100 damage to Landorus-EX, when you factor its water weakness and two Deoxys-EX on your bench, or does Mesprit's PLB Ability stay in effect after getting knocked out by bench damage from Kyurem PLF, in which Kyurem would only hit the Landorus-EX for 50 damage??

I'm pretty sure it would go like this:

Check to make sure Kyurem has Energy to attack
Choose to do 30 damage to Mesprit
Add Power Connect damage
Check weakness and resistence (Landorus has no weakness still)
Place damage counters
Check to see if Pokemon are knocked out

So, since weakness is applied before Pokemon are knocked out, I think Landorus would still have no weakness during the attack. But I'm just guessing (with some help from the rulebook), so you should probably post the question at Ask the Rules Team, or wait until an actual judge can give an answer.

checking for ko is always the last step, so in this case your doing 30 to mesprit and 50 to landorus, landorus's weakness doesn't return until mesprit is put in the discard which is the last step (other then taking prize card).
