Tournament entry is $20 (this includes the 6 booster packs for tournament play which you get to keep)
Registration and Start Time
Registration begins at 10 am; the tournament starts at 11 am
How to Sign-up and Play
Pre-Register Online. Be sure of your place in the Tournament, and skip the registration line!
Pre-reg coming soon.
Preregistered players, please arrive between 10:15-10:30 am and go to Registration to check in.
If you are not preregistered, please arrive at the event by 10:15 am.
Pre-Constructed Deck event -- How to sign-up and play
We will be having a special non-sanctioned, non-competitive, Preconstructed Deck Tournament which will run concurrently with the main Prerelease. The entry fee is $20. This event is for all those younger players who are just coming into the game, who want to learn the game in an easy, fun, environment, and have someone help them with their play.
Each player will receive a preconstructed deck to play with in the event--there is no deck building. A parent, older sibling, or friend may assist those playing to help them learn the game and have fun! Every participant will receive 3 packs of FireRed LeafGreen (equaling the product and cost of the main event). At the conclusion of the tournament, the top 50% of the players will receive an additional pack of FireRed LeafGreen.

Tournament Format
This tournament will feature a "sealed deck" format. Each player will receive 6 prerelease boosters and have 30 minutes to construct a 40-card deck. Basic Energy cards will be provided. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the tournament based on points earned during the rounds of age-modified swiss pairings.
Prizes
Each player competing in this prerelease event will receive a special promotional card available only by participating in this tournament.
Prizes for each age group are:
1st -- 1 Box of prerelease booster packs
2nd -- 18 prerelease booster packs
3-4th -- 9 prerelease booster packs
5-8th -- 4 prerelease booster packs
And remember everyone gets to keep the cards they received to play in the tournament as well!
