Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Landorus EX and Terrakion EX seem to have synergy.

I look at Landorus EX and think "wow that's an awesome card." Double 30 for one Energy and then base 80 plus 70 for discarding Energy. With a partner like Terrakion EX and cards like Cilan, Energy Retrieval, etc., it could be a fierce combo.

Use Land Judgment to do 150 damage.
Use Switch or Escape Rope
Send up Terrakion EX
Play an Energy grabbing card (Cilan, ER, Energy Search, what have you)
Use Pump-up Smash to do base 90 and attach Energy to your benched Landorus EX
Switch Landorus EX back up attack again.
Rinse, Repeat.

Because of how fat these guys are you'll probably wanna max out the following cards:
Heavy Ball
Switch
Escape Rope
Am i missing anything?

Anyway, given the looming presence of Blastoise and Keldeo, Landorus EX is hampered by Water weakness. So techs like Mewtwo or Virizion might be taken into consideration.

Landorus EX is obviously a hyped card but what do you guys think?

I may have a theorymon brewing so check in every now and again

No doubt they would be good together. But you rarely get to attach energy cards with terrikion ex second attack unless if you play cilan. It would be best to play Landours ex with dce's....so you won't hafe to discard all energy's with its second attack.

or any energy that would be searchable by cilan, such as a couple darkness energies, then use darkrai for free retreat cost.

If you can ever actually get 3 energy on a Landorus and 3 energy on a Terrakion EX, Land Judgement, and have Landorus or Terrakion not get KOed in this process, your opponent is probably not playing right. That being said, Landorus EX is a great card, but I'm not sure about it having synergy with Terrakion EX.

Landorus EX's main appeal is its unbelievable early game attack. Hammerhead is great to use on the first few turns of the game. However, once you use that attachment on Landorus, you didn't attach to Terrakion EX, meaning you are delaying Pump Up Smash by a turn, which negatively affects Terrakion EX's usefulness. While there is something to be said for a mid-game Pump Up Smash, it's going to be very difficult to have energy to attach with that attack if you already devoted some (or 3) to Landorus EX.
