It's Nick. I think this deck will become an Archetype.

Slash in the Sand is right, It takes the knowledge of when to rock, who to place damage on and how much damage to put on someone. I'm lucky that I have had experience with complicated decks. I train myself a lot to perfect my skills at a deck. I've already been playing this deck for 2 Months(proxie:biggrin: ).

All I can say is It takes practice:thumb:

i had a nice idea for this deck, you should take out 1 gengar ex, 1 gengar and 1 gastly. Add 4 eeves (CFF) and 3 espeon ex.

thats a nice idea but there are 3 reasons why not:
1. Espeon only de-evolves 1 pokemon on the bench
2. that defeats the purpose of my rocks and that is more things that I have to take out of my deck that will make it less consistant
3. Gengar Ex is 1/3 of my strategy. He is clean up after my Gengars die and I should be behind on prizes and If I'm not, Poltergiest should get me through and if that doesn't work than I retriever and get another Gengar.

Agreed. I'm playing almost the same deck. Gengar ex sweep is sexy

I dont know, you are not sacrificing that much. Espeon is good, because you KO the opponent's pokemon earlier, even thought they have to be benched (you could use warp point or something similar)

You're saying to add 7 new cards. How are you going to fit those in without totally messing up the Gengar consistency? What 7 cards are you going to take out?

4 plusle (replaced by eevee CFF), 1 gengar ex, 1 gengar, 1 gastly. It changes somewhat the strategy of the deck, but I think its better cuz its faster.

umm if they are KO'ing your gengars use rockets admin instead of copycat better yet split them to 2 of each so then you have some control of their hand while you are prize counting them

I don't know if it would be faster. I get Gengar T2 with react almost every time. Adding another line will just drop the consistency.

Ok guys I know this thread is kinda old but I need your help and I know there are a lot of great Gengar people out their(Thunderbolt). I need to try and fit in a 1-1 or 2-2 line of Dusclops ex. and so you don't have to keep looking back and forth for the deck here is my deck again:

This is "Last Laugh"

Pokemon
4 Gastly LM
2 Haunter RG
4 Gengar LM
1 Gengar ex
2 Pidgey
2 Pidgeotto
2 Pidgeot
4 plusle

Trainers
4 Giant Stump
4 Rare Candy
4 Curse Powder
2 ATM Rock
1 Pokemon Retriever
3 Celio's
3 TV Reporter
4 Copycat

Energy
4 React Energy
10 Psychic

Basic strategy: use the Gengar to spread damage and if you kill him when he has a curse powder on him then you take 60. After a while you start rocking them. after all the damage and the opponent thinks hes won, Gengar ex will appear through the the smoke and prize count you to death
I would minus a Retriever and a Reporter. I personally don't like having 3 TV Repoter in decks because I don't like discarding. But for the Retriever, I would take it out. Your planning on Playing 4 Gengar's and 1 Gengar ex per game. All of those that died altogether is 6 prizes whick makes the opponent win. (Obviously) But you wouldn't really need the Retriever unlees Gengar ex was prized and you need a long Gengar swarm.

If 4 Gengar die then I need to retrieve a Gastley out of the discard to get out the ex because I have technicly 5 Gengar in the deck, but only 4 Gastley

Ludicolous

T2 slowking does not exist any more. Just because I played it and was a God with it doesn't mean everybody plays it. T2 Slowking is dead

Ya, your right. I don't think I've seen one beening played at a tourney for at least a year. The only deck we have to worry about is Rock-lock. Thankfully, Dusclops ex will take care of that as well.

i tried your deck on apprentice and it's awesome.
i took out 2 copycat and put in a 1-1 Dusclops Ex line.

and it worked fine? how many battles did you play and how consistant was it? just wondering because thats a good idea to take out 2 Copycat

first of all ya can put in 1-1 evee line with espy works really well
second why put in tv reporter put in bills maintinence so ya do not have to discard or if you use the discard to your advantage go ahead but i like bm.:thumb:
