Please let me know how Eeon Douglas does in masters! And also Kayla Lui in seniors.

Jeez, this is gonna take all day if Round 1 is just finishing now, for Masters alone!
Does anyone know how many spots there are?

Well they are technically playing top 1024 so it would make sense for it to last a long time.

It's single elimination and they need 8 people, therefore they need a number of people who you can keep halving until you get 8. As they had 900odd people they give a bunch of byes in round 1, coupled with the matches and engineer it so that they have a number that can keep being halved until they get 8 :)

Otherwise it would never work!

^^ Probably the most useful thing I've ever read on an official Pokemon website :) ^^

Lanturn doing well.. Something I actually expected. Definitely more surprised about Samurott and Tyranitar.

Really surprised that Donphan wasn't mentioned though.

Gunna be a VERY interesting Worlds and props to Pokemon for their coverage. Good stuff :)

lanturn prime is a really nice card since it can be either lightning-type or water-type (if you use its poke-power) which is an effective counter against water, donphan and fire decks.

samurott ability is used to counter fire decks since with 3 colorless it can do 70 x 2 =140 a sure killer of reshiram.

tyranitar paired with special darkness energy can ohko reshirams and zekroms with its third attack. it also has 160 hp which makes it tough to take down.

Any big casualties so far? I can't really remember who's grinding! I know Kenny Wisdom is (i think) but i didn't see him on the list. Nicholas Fotheringham seems to be representing pretty well for the UK :D
