Having been fascinated with leafeon UD i have been trying to find a way for it to work even against trainer/power locks. Here is my attempt at making Leafeon work. The name is an attempt for a catchy deck name and hope the name sounds nice ^^

Pokemon 29
3 Spiritomb (AR)
2 Uxie (LA)
1 Unown Q (MD)
1 Shaymin (UD)
1 Azelf (LA)
2-2 Roserade (UL)
2-2-2Vileplume (UD)
3-3-1 Leafeon Lvlx (with 3 UD)
2-2 Sunflora (HGSS)

Energies 15
4 Double Colorless Energy
4 Rainbow Energy
4 Grass Energy
3 Psychic Energy

Trainers 16
2 Broken Time Stadium
3 Bebe's Search
2 Interviewer's Question
2 Judge
1 Palmer Contribution
3 Pokemon Collector
3 Prof Oaks New Theory

Strategy

The idea is to start the trainer lock with Spiritomb while slowly building Sunflora/Vileplume. After Vileplume UD comes out to stop the trainers.

Leafeon is the main attacker with the help of roserade which will bring give the opponent 2 status and give 110 damage with miasma wind and poison

Uxies are for generic drawing, Shaymin will help move the energies around after attaching them to Roserade. Azelf for those possible prized pokemon.

Interviewers question is somewhat an attempt consistently dishout 110 damage especially when needed

Hope you can help improve the deck thanks

i run leafeon roserade and bronzong with the pokepower cycler has saved me so much, and this deck right now is an auto loss to steelix so you can tech in a flareon or a blaziken from pl but you would have to change your pokemon around, and to me it just seems like you have alot of build up but not much punch so i would try to focus more on getting status afflictions for a more consistent miasma wind

'constructive critism issued by "jokerjake7"'

luckily noone use steelix. i dont like bronzong because of the heavy retreat cost but im thinking about blaziken ^^

-2 Double Colorless
-2 Rainbow
-2/2 Sunflora
-1 Shaymin

+2 Grass
+1 Psychic
+1/1/1 Shiftry
+1 Uxie LV. X

I run Shiftry in my deck, awesome counter to Steelix/Donphan/Machamp, or anything else besides SP. Confuse and force a retreat, and if they can't.... you get a free extra 50 damage next turn.

Roserade needs SSU to re-use his Rainbow Energy.
This wont work like you think. :thumb:

i tried that in an earlier version of the deck leafeon/magmortar/roserade
actually been using it IRL and in RS and i believe it has performed better than most people think i know that having too many pokemon really seems to be the downfall of the deck but with spiritomb and sunflora the deck is consistent

the only problem i have is bench management i need 1 vileplume, 1 sunflora, 1 roserade, 1or 2 leafeon but the uxies, spiritombs, azelf becomes hard to remove from play maybe from the Hunter supporter from the next set will help

anyways thanks for all the input guys

spiritomb seems like wasted space, you don't have any stage2 and you have the vileplume for the trainer lock

an eevee start would be better because he can search for a leafeon

also, your deck only needs one energy to attack, so leafeon LV X's pokemon power is virtually unused.

the shaymin seems unnecessary, because instead of moving Roserade's energies around, you want to recycle them. The Unown Return would work much better for this.

Do you even need BTS? It seems like if you ever played it, your opponent would abuse BTS and take much more advantage of it than you ever could. I would recommend a different stadium...

...why DCE? You're ever only going to be attacking for 1 energy with Leafeon, DCE is practically useless, unless you're forced to attack with another pokemon because your strategy failed. If you plan for failure, you're going to fail. I would replace your DCEs with grass energy and consistency boosters. You need a 4th Bebe's Search, you should probably run 2-3 pokemon communication (especially with so many pokemon in the deck), and you should run 4 judge if you're going to run any.

After changes, Azelf seems unnecessary, but then again, it would be a crime not to run azelf. especially if your Q gets prized.

thats my 2cents, i think these changes would really help boost consistency.

my ideal set up is like spiritomb active to provide initial lock then sunkern and oddish bench. darkness grace to sunflora, next turn search for gloom then darkness grace for Vileplume. With that setup i only need collector to make everything happen. i expect spiritomb to die after darkness grace to Vileplume i now have a permanent trainer lock.

honestly i found starting with eevee to be more of a problem i still need to get roserade up before he becomes effective also early game sleep is almost always countered by evolution which renders it useless

also, your deck only needs one energy to attack, so leafeon LV X's pokemon power is virtually unused.
leafeon lvlx allows for fast recovery you need 2 attachment for recovery 1 rainbow for roserade and 1 energy for the attacking. late game when you used up all rainbow you now need to attach grass and psychic to trigger both conditions also it provides a good attack roserade tends to have lots of energies which allows somewhere around 70-100 damage with leafeon's attack

the shaymin seems unnecessary, because instead of moving Roserade's energies around, you want to recycle them. The Unown Return would work much better for this.
this is also being considered the idea behind moving energy is to provide Roserade firepower again my problem is still bench management unown R will also take one space which i dont have generally i have a full bench

Do you even need BTS? It seems like if you ever played it, your opponent would abuse BTS and take much more advantage of it than you ever could. I would recommend a different stadium...
again bts is more of a recovery mechanic when my leafeon dies or roserade dies

...why DCE? You're ever only going to be attacking for 1 energy with Leafeon, DCE is practically useless, unless you're forced to attack with another pokemon because your strategy failed. If you plan for failure, you're going to fail. I would replace your DCEs with grass energy and consistency boosters. dce helps leafeon lvlx and roserade attack. a 2nd use for the dce is retreat for when vileplume becomes unexpectedly active. it has saved me lots of times by allowing a KO

im thinking of removing azelf too eats up bench space

thank you for the comments i could apply it to my other leafeon-roserade build but for this deck i dont think i can entertain your comments in this deck
