Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

League of legends -Worst Community in Gaming

Well, people are extremely mean to each other. Ex: When someone doesn't know something, they get bashed instead of being helped by others. This is just one example. Most players also don't want to try new things, all they do is get mad if you pick something unorthodox and if one has seen most of my decks I like to run rogues. It is real bad.

I think you can find examples of what you've just mentioned in pretty much every game under the sun...for example, I play WoW, and it's fun watching others troll people for their dumb questions on the server, whether intentional or not. I mean, there's a reason people get annoyed if a new guy can't bother googling or researching whatever say their class or spec is before coming in to play in raids and dungeons and then wasting their time with their bad tactics...

from my personal experience people who dont know much about this game dont listen and they always do the same mistakes.(engaging 1on5., doesnt pay attention to the pings)
in normal games i try some strange builds(ap bc, ap nasus, kayle ad/ap, ap corki etc) and i always tell my mates in champ selection what i play. usually they dont really care and i often do fine. ofc there are some mates who blames you but w/e.

Its probably bad luck or its just how you act/play. I mean if you play unorthodox builds/champs and play bad then there is a reason why they flame at you..

EDIT: actually the hon community is way worse than lol community

ap corki.
...how does that even work?

In any case, I somewhat strongly disagree. If you're playing ranked, you shouldn't try unorthodox builds. In 9 out of 10 cases, it's better to stick with what's been proven as good in Ranked and mess around with that Revive/Promote Jungle Soraka in Normals, where a defeat doesn't really matter too much. When you play Ranked, your teammates are affected far more strongly by your play - if your team loses because of your build, they have reason to rage because their ELO just took a hit.

And if you're playing Ranked and "don't know something", don't play Ranked.

ap corki was stronger before riot made a remake on r. usually you use q e , then w away, autoattack/q again/ ulti

Sometimes unorthodox builds can work (ex: ad kennen was considered as a troll build some months ago) in ranked because people dont expect them (ex: most player expected ap kennen months ago, so they go mr rune page) and they usually cant adapt to the situation. however it depends on the playstyle and build you use (ex: ad soraka wont work)

You just have to learn to ignore all the complaining. I'll run Tiamat on Shyvanna while also building attack speed items like Phantom and Ionic Spark and and Frozen mallet while getting yelled at all the time. It mostly stops when I engaged 1v5 and tank everything while my team comes and sweeps up the leftovers. Just gotta learn to ignore some of the stupid remarks for they are probably flaming cause they failed to do their job properly.

You've clearly never played DotA or HoN. There are nice DotA/HoN players, but there are quite a few jerks. MOBA communities can get pretty nasty because if one person is a subpar player, the whole team suffers. That is going to cause rage eventually. Avoid solo queues, participate in the tribunal system, and DON'T FEED THE TROLLS.

Glass-cannon/On-hit Shyvana is good because of synergy with her Q and initiation speed from her W and R, it's just that there are other champs like Udyr and Sion that pull it off ridiculously better with radically higher sustainability.

Basically the problem with your build is that you're building like you're not playing Shyvana. :)

Play CO OP Vs AI with Friends, but yeah the competitiveness can get annoying.
If you make one wrong move you can get yelled at. That and there can be trolls tower diving in games too.

Play with people you know - anyway I'll be glad to play an AI with you.

Necrobump.

I've actually been lucky to have avoided most of the trolly behavior that can be rampant in LoL. Though I do get my fair share dealing with toxic players in the Tribunal. I find keeping a positive attitude really helps.

Just started playing this summer, and its been a lot of fun. Add me if you want to hit up a game sometime (W0bbafett).

And that's a necro and no mistake!

Started playing recently and have been on and off with it, certainly haven't played a whole lot (I'm like level 7 or something). But I haven't had community problems. A few people get frustrated and you just let them be frustrated and keep going. SS7 is right, keep a positive attitude of your own and you'll be fine.

I don't like playing that much without being with people I know though. So that might help.
