I am not sure, I know that I won't be able to play, but I'm not sure exactly how many judges he's gonna need, or
what's going to be happening with the 'staff'. I'll just be ready for anything! :) The way the BR in Salem last month
was staffed worked just fine! And we can definatly replicate that model without any help from the northern
cities, (Except for Mr. Raichu...no one can replace that guy!!! Though I do hope to be a cheap rip-off in the future.)

Are you planning on coming down with him? I would really love it if you got to meet everyone down here, I'd even
give you the tour of SOU if you had the time...(Yea right, like we'll have the time.)

I hope you're not nervous, DarkStar20. It's easy helping with tournaments. Then again all I've ever done is run DS tournaments and hand BDS table slips, but I guess making sure the participants have fun is fun for the judges as well. I don't get how BDS and Mr. Raichu make it look so easy. I have my hands full all the time helping league run smoothly and keeping a DS tournament in order.
I'm sure BDS, Mr. Raichu, and Momma_june would love all the help they can get. I know from experience. :wink:

I'm not too worried, I handle as many as 40 league kids all by myself, it'll be a busy day, and on that day,
whom ever is in charge Will have a lot of help! :) So it'll go just fine.

I just have been going like a maniac trying to advirtise, I want a really good turn out! I want to show everyone
that Southern Oregon players are playing this game, and we need more big tournaments down here!

And as far as DS tournaments go, I'm trying to set up a Projector for the final match....can we hold the Final
match on Battle Revolution? Or is that illegal?

Nah, Travis and I do that all the time. BDS and Mr. Raichu never seem to mind. If you ask me, showing the finals on PBR makes the tournament more exciting. Sometimes I even have DS matches go on at league for practice for the DS tournaments. That's how much most Salem Pokemon players get excited for that side event.

As for Salem DS tournaments, Borderlands has a big screen TV, so I'm trying to gain permission to use that TV with my wii, but on the other hand I don't own PBR. :eek:

:smile: We have a projector in the Classroom where we hold the Ashland league. We play on the big white screen
on PBR all the time...we were on it like an hour and a half yesterday! They really love it, and it would be fun,
maybe I can find a projector to use in Medford...

Im hoping to be down there, he hasnt gotten ahold of me about plans but he did tell me that i could catch a ride. I was actualy down there this weekend, getting registered for classes and such. 6 hours down, 6 hours up, only to pile right back into my mothers van for a trip to the beach the next morning. BLEH.
 
In the DS Tourney it says Darkrai isn't allowed because it's an Event Pokemon and not Available. But it was given out at TRU this yr, and should be allowed correct? I'm really hoping to go to the Prerelease for this set, it looks to be a really good set.

Good catch. I'm guessing that's an error because I just copy and paste from prior events. I'll get confirmation from out DS guys and edit the post.
