For the purposes of 2-on-2 battles, who picks the Defending Pokemon to switch?
Also, what if there was an effect on the Defending Pokemon that would prevent all effects of an attack? The Defending Pokemon wouldn't be switched. However, does damage still apply if I targeted a Benched Pokemon?
(C)(C) - Choose 1 of your opponent's Pokemon. If you choose a Benched Pokemon, switch the Defending Pokemon with that Pokemon. This attack does 20 damage to the Pokemon you choose. Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed.
