The strategy is to lock with Lilligant and keep them their because they cannot use Switch because of Vileplume.

I never thought confusion was a big deal until you can't use trainers to deal with it. It can really take out your opponent's energy and give you a big advantage late game.
I would love everyone's thought and opinions on the deck... any help is welcome. :thumb:

I saw that a lilligant did well in one of the battleroads and I looked at the card and just didn't c how. If you went 9-3 with it though than congrats to you. I wouldn't tweak the deck so much with your success, but maybe try out vespiquen UD to protect your vileplume from snipe (you have 26 pokemon alrdy, but if there are lines that are inconsistent you can replace). Roserade can help with the status lock perhaps. Weavile for added disruption. Or while you are under trainer lock, cards like bellsprout or perhaps muk can provide you with ur own form of catcher. Since your attacks have low energy cost, maybe blissey prime could heal as well (though you will b one shotted most likely anyway, could help your yanmega/donphan matchup though). My suggestions are all pokemon, so disregard if you like your pokemon lines the way they are. They look fine to me honestly but these r some options. On trainers, you might b able to cut a communication and a rare candy for two more twins. Though i'm not sure how often during the matchup you are behind. The less trainers with vileplume, the better though.

Do you mind explaining some of your deck matchups in more detail?

Have you considered using Rescue Energy?

My friend plays a similar deck, and says it helps him with swarming, although his deck is a faster version.

Congrats on the great score though! Would have liked to see a Reshiphlosion matchup in there :p

Sunflora and Pichu must really help this deck set up. You could probably use something like Leafeon here. Volbeat and Illumise are a maybe. You could try Leavanny (Emerging Powers) since it has an evolution attack or Tangrowth (Call of Legends). I don't think that Heracross (HGSS) would help you much except for drawing cards

@TrainerEnjay: It started out with Roserade in the deck (it also started with Mew Prime/Leavanny too), but it just felt a bit redundant. Vespiquen is a good idea. People with Yanmega just for the Vileplume, and that would really hurt it. The only thing is room for it, but, there is time before Cities, so, I will definitely try out all of your suggestions.

@Rambo: I will really consider adding that in here.. especially with the Swarming help.

@Alazor: I am fine with the Lilligant/Yanmega attacking ratios, but, Leafeon is definitely worth a shot... I completely forgot about it.

@Elite 4 Allen: Awesome! Was it fun upsetting people with special conditions?

Wait, why is this better than Mew+Muk? Because of the chance of paralysis?

Still, great job on performing well with an original deck. I'd really like to know how you beat Typhlosion/Reshiram though, as confusion has never stopped me from destroying my opponent. Paralysis however, would hurt - but you only have 50 % chance of that.

Mazu:
I couldn't build Mew/Muk...ergo.. I improvised.
You just get out the Vileplume ASAP and slow them down so that Confusion does make a difference.

Miniwade: Ok.

it was pretty fun when I did use Liliigant, but mostly I used mew prime to attack

Nice, this is very similar to a deck that I've been working on in TCGO, I was wondering if you have tried my version before with yan+rose? Also, if you don't mind, I'd like to try your version and see how different it is from my deck.

@Houndoom: I was thinking about it, but, the room is what I am worried about most.. will definitely add it to my testing list though.

@Gota: I have not tried Mega/Rose before, does it work alright?
Yeah of course, go right ahead.

1 thing i found in testing against Donphan varients, was that once you actually ko the first donphan, things go downhill. it's much better to make the 1 sit and suffer. I wouldnt neccesarily reccomend it, but i fooled around with DCL in here for a while, and it was fantastic vs donphan. moving 11 damage counters of a confused donphan to a benched yanmega/zoarark is just too fun xD
