Yes they run 1 Briney, while you need 3 or more against any deck who can actually used cursed stone 5times.

Draggy ex d and hold back the powers, build up an energy pool then drop in Metagri and take prizes when you have a chance.

Congrats to all who qualified, and GL to Holland at worlds.

dnsparce is the key: you need to retrat scizor EX to avoid 0,5X30 dmg and no attack (so no steel wing)

when you send active something that is not a scizor with 2 metal and steeli wing it gets damaged by grumpig.

to retreat each turn to avoid confusion you need 1 energy per turn....
you'll end energies before grumpigstall ends his fossils.

scizor with 2 metal: 40 reduction.

1 claw fossils: dead scizor.

to have 2 scizor with 2 metal each you are risking to deck yourself out (don't forget you need 16 hit to ko 4 mysteiour and 8 other fossils) cuase you need to draw a lot to have all 4 metals and a energy per turn to retreat.

if you use metagross to put energy back on scizor you have your answer.

each power: 10 damage on scizor EX.

2 power +1 claw = 90 hp left so even 4 metal+steel wing is still 1hko from latias star

If this not happen, send a Dugtrio/Grumpig CG to do some damages to Scizor.

They will KO you.

You'll KO them with the results of 2/3 Metal Energies they cannot retrieve (or they would damage themselves), drawing 2 prizes versus 1 because they cannot OHKO your Latias* after he attacks, and making them lose a Scizor. Not bad!

I see it's very easy for the people finding autowin versus Grumpig only because of the 40 and run idea.
But i think 90% of the games are winnable without doing the 40 and run thing.
This is a thing which makes the opponent do a lot of misplays and confusion about match-ups.

because cladol ex can't touch pig stall. You can't damage the bench, you can't place damage counters onto the bench, you can't drag off the bench. All you have is pokemon reversal/ER2 cessation pokemon-powers Lati@s. The pigies hide behind a very effective wall of fossils. Absolutions can give pig-stall a hard time as can anything that can reduce the damage output from grumpig to zero. ATM Ice was the best killer for fossil decks, but a decent player wont play all their fossils at once.

I don't get it. Your Latias* takes exactly 3 turns to power up and you see that coming exactly 3 turns ahead. Do you think anyone would seriously just watch a Latias* power up and keep their Scizor active?! Then they just charge up Queen or Metagross or they're own Latias* which all can kill Fossils without any Problem, but can't be killed by Latias*.

as soon as you put queen/metagross up it gets OHKO'd by a pig, because cursed stone does damage too.
And trust me, people have to do something, so yes, they actually give up their exes to save time and ko fossils.
