so yeah the previous night while i was stuffing myself with lots of food, i was contemplating on what deck to use for cities. after feeling a tad woozy, i got home from my relatives house and showered and headed to sleep over at my friends house. i wasnt planning on doing super well, but i wanted to do well enough to boost my self esteem of losing so much before xD. i had either 3 choices: dusknoir, tyranitar, and bibarel (yes bibiarel). i had been playing ttar and bibarel for a while before, but my friends dusky deck was doing awesome, and beating me left and right, so i decided to try it. unfortunately, i got to his house a lot later than expected (12:30 am) so i couldnt deck test dusknoir. so i was stuck between ttar and bibarel, since i was already familiar with those decks. i picked ttar, since bibarel was out matched by scizor, but ttar also had a decent matchup against dusky and gengar matchups just like bibarel. so i decided ttar, and i stayed up until 3 am playing smash while my other friend went to go black friday shopping and came back for the tourney

so we wake up at 7 am and get to the tourney area around 9 feeling woozy. being in masters sucks. too many dusknoirs D: i decide to run ttar since i was most comfortable with that deck
so heres the action, out of 6 rounds:
(WARNING: THIS MAY NOT BE ACCURATE DUE TO THE FACT THAT IM TIRED)
R1: Martin Moreno (lol i fail) w/ dusknoir
so yeah im confident with my dusky matchup, but i was when i saw i had to play him. i dont remember how exactly the match went, but it involved him using lumineon and the DP dusknoir to screw my bench completely over (i tried playing 3 bench, but when you cosmic power into a basic, lumineon kills you and dusknoir kills you even harder), so i lose by about 2-3 prizes., not bad for me though o:. only loss of the day also

R2: iunno w/ tyranitar
he gets a ttar built up manually and he whiffs on claydol for several turn while i get set up 2 ttars and sweep. gg

so yeah its late at night and im tired so i forget.

R4: iunno with dusknoir + bronzong
this match was pretty weird but cool. he has dusclops, and i have a weavile with a call and special dark. i predict that he has dusky in his hand so i shadow charge 2 more special darks onto weavile, so if i chip off with dark engage it will kil his dusky after he shadow commands (120 - 20 (shadow command) = 100, 40 + 30 (spec darks) + 30 weakness = KO) so i score an early KO on his dusky, and hes behind. gg. o yeah my friend got uberdonked by machamp w/ sableye. the real tourney game with T1 sableye (sad), and then he wanted to play his opponent again, then got donked by machamp (super sad cuz my friend went first), so just a lol xD

R5: Craig Lee w/ dusknoir + alakazam
this match was really close, i normall go thru my deck with cosmic power, but his zam power cancels them. i get stuck with a ttar and start taking prizes while not being able to set up. so i only have that lone ttar with unown g (he sniped my other pokes with dusky lv x and damage even) and KO his dusky. he drops a pachi, then smash shorts me and says that it discards my unown g. i memorized this ruling, and know that it doesnt discard it, but the head judge comes over and rules against me and says the g is discarded. so i lost my only hope of defending against damage even, so i bench a larvitar, baltoy, and a sneasel. i power up my larvitar and evolve into pupitar. he doesnt notice that im down to my last prize and i ko him with ttar evolved from that pupitar. i check the ruling with the PTO and show to the head judge and my opponent and they didnt know about it o:. so its alright guys you guys are still awesome xD

R6: Cliff w/ reggigigas (awesome)
this deck was pretty innovative and original. reggigigas with electrode to power itself up. unfortunately for him, he starts with the slow start regi, and i start shadow charging darks to my ttars. he kills a ttar by electrode (booming) and regi, but i put up my other ttar and sweep. little did i know id have to face him in finals o:

Top 8: Craig Lee w/ dusky+zam
this was sad. i felt so bad for him, he didnt get set up at all the first game while my charged ttar ran thru him. second game he drew crap and i Koed his dusclops (i think?) with a sneasel in 4 turns -_-. i felt so bad, but this guy was chill with it. we played some matches for fun with his friends for the rest of the time (we finished in like under 15 minutes)

Top 4: Yang? (i dun remember his name) with gengar/dusknoir
this guy was was one of cliffs and craigs friends, so i knew he was kewl. out of all the matchups, i was scared to death of gengar, since he could just KO my charged ttar which i worked so hard to get with a coin flip. The first game was really funny, he got a crap start and scooped while i started sweeping with weavile. he also whiffs on a few fainting spells (yay). i pull a sick KO by KOing his gengar with a lunatone instead of a ttar which secured my win that round. the second match was really close. i was ahead in prizes, but then his dusk lv x and damage evens and shadow room start to take a toll on my pokemon except for my ttar with unown g. and guess how i lost the match, his gengar KOed my ttar with fainting spell and he takes his last prize. the third match was really close, we both started with unown g, and i get set up as usual while he does too. he takes out my claydol with gengar, and my 2 ttars cant really do anything about it (they didnt haev enough energy). i misplay crucially buy attacking with a ttar with 2 energy when his dusky night spin, so i had to let that go. so now i have to shadow charge them both up and he devolevs one of them with dusky lv x. i KO the lv x, and it starts spreading. i manually charge another larvitar up, and eventually the match comes down to me having 2 prizes, him having 3. i have 2 ttars (one with unown g) damaged and he has a gengar, baltoy, and claydol. i send up the ttar without the g to KO the gengar, and regardless if he gets heads or not, i had the game since he didnt couldnt kill my ttar with dusknoir (due to unown g). close game! o: my friend lost to Cliff so i couldnt play him in finals D:

Top 2: Cliff w/ reggiawesome
i really had to go the bathroom so i ran there and back. first round he scoops quickly since i got set up and his regiggigas lv x was prized -_-. second round i almost lost. i had a 2 sneasel and he had a voltorb (SW) and another pokemon that i forgot. he does 20 to my active sneasel, then i evolve my other sneasel into weavile and couldnt do anything. he evolved and ion blasts for 40, so if i didnt get another pokemon out, i lost that round. i rowan and i luckily get a call energy, and use it. i get set up, and he couldnt get his reggigigas lv x out fast enough to attack. GG

so yeah i wont cities with a decent record (8-1), and i know my report sucks (first time writing one). as to why i named my deck LOFL: after the tourney i helped to pack up and i saw a box that had LOFL on it, so i was like LOL + ROFL = LOFL and i took it. so i named my deck that. the guys from fountain valley were awesome craig, cliff, and all their friends which i could not name them all were chill and we thanked them for being cool and they mustve thought we were losers (i hope they really didnt think that xD)
