Louisiana State Championships
State Championships are finally here. Compete for the title of Champion in Louisiana's biggest Pokemon event of the year!
State championships will be a 2-day event this year, with TCG on Saturday March 8, and VGC and a League Challenge on Sunday March 9.

State Championships will be located at +1 Gaming in Metairie, LA.
The store is located in the back of Independence Mall, behind Sake Cafe. The address is

If possible, please register online before the event.
On-site registration and check-in for online registration will be from 9 to 10 AM on Saturday. Anyone not registered or in line by 10 AM will be entered with a round one loss.
Masters will have a $20 entry fee, Juniors and Seniors are free.
TCG swiss rounds will be completed Saturday. We will do everything we can to complete top cut Saturday night as well. If we have enough masters for 8 rounds of swiss, we may have to move top cut to Sunday, but we will do our best to avoid that.
In addition to the standard state championship prizes, masters division top 4 will receive cash prizes on a visa gift card. 1st place will receive $100, 2nd place will receive $50, 3rd and 4th places will receive $25. These amounts may increase depending on attendance.

We will also have Japanese Pokemon merchandise as door prizes.
VGC Info:
We are excited to have our first ever Pokemon VGC State Championships on Sunday, March 9
VGC registration will be from 11 am until noon.
There will be a $10 entry fee for all age divisions, and we will have visa gift cards for prizes. The amounts will be determined by attendance.

League Challange Info:
We will be having a league challenge as well on Sunday for those who are not interested in the VGC tournament.
The League Challenge will be free for anyone who played in the TCG State Championships. Anyone who did not play in the TCG state championships will have to pay a $5 entry fee.
