IMO 3-1 lux is ok. Im currently playing 2-1 and it works great. you need an ambipom g for mirror and more donks. T1 ambi G active with DCE in hand ftw. Ive done it a bunch of times. its really funny. -1-1 claydol -1 call +1 lightning +1 SP radar +1 ambipom G. then -1 looker for a night maintenance. only having aarons for recovery is gonna kill you mid-late game. im also playing 2-2 chomp C and 2-1 cuz I really like being able to heal/80 snipe consistently without having to waste my poketurns. I suggest you playtest these and if you still dont like em then you can just go back to the posted list cuz its not bad its just gonna have some trouble in mirror/late game

Thanks for all of your suggestions! Though kamz, how do I deal with Machamp? =S
Anyone have anymore suggestions?

just G the garchomp

Take out the luxury ball for a third SP radar, you can't catch the ball with Cyrus ;)

lux ball is only good if u run vlaydol

um what makes you so sure? a 3-1 works better then a 2-2? do you have experience with this deck? if you dont you should test both in your metagame if you do and still say its better well im surprised ive been playing a 2-2 for 4 months and allways had plenty of bright looks

Yes, i have PLENTY of experience with this deck and have tested with both lines and a 3-1 is MUCH more suited for my type because i love starting with luxray especially with DCE because you can do "1" energy for 30 and even though garchomp can do the same thing, it is not very good when your opponent starts with a spiritomb because your 30 damage goes down to a measly 10 damage.
