I have made my own Luxchomp deck, for testing my decks for contests only, and I want it to be the best.

2 Garchomp C
2 Garchomp C Lv.X
2 Luxray GL
2 Luxray GL Lv.X
4 Sableye SF
2 Uxie
1 Azelf
1 Chatot G
4 Unown Q

4 Bebe's Search
4 Pokemon Collector
4 Seeker
1 Copycat
3 E-Belt
1 Luxury Ball
4 Communication
3 Premier Ball
1 Level Max
4 Poke Turn

4 DCE
4 :lightning: Energy
3 Rescue Energy

Strategy: It's a basic Luxchomp deck strategy, I'm not entirely sure what it is but I think Luxray's Bright Look and Garchomp's Healing Breath working together. If you could tell me what the strategy is that would be some help!

Why do you wanna open with Sabley ? Just google for some standart LGG list, if you dont know basic build.

Unown Q 4x ? Really ? o_O

Wow, um. You might wanna play a different deck until you're a little more experienced at this game. For Luxchomp you need the entire SP engine (Cyrus's Conspiracy, Energy Gain, Poke Turn, Power Spray, Sp Radar) for the deck to work. Why the heck do you have 4 Unown Q? It only has 30hp, so it is easy for your opponent to KO you on their first turn. Like Charles said, you'll probably wanna google for a good Luxchomp list. I certainly hope this is a joke.

It gets Supporters out of the deck and uses them

ok

whats wrong with that?

Edit: Ninja'd by Jumpluff, I just need to form the decks to use them to test my decks. So that way I can test my decks VS the metagame

Or didnt you make a mistake and wanna played Chen Lock ? It looks like cuz 4 Sableys and Chatot G .... but anyway you are pretty much far away even from this build.

...
Yeah, you should wait until you become more experienced at this game until you run sp.
I'll send you my list though, if you promise not to share it with anyone (That includes posting it on deck help sections)

I'm not using this deck!! I'm just wanting to test one of my deck VS it!

ok

And please, test with a good player with luxchomp, otherwise besides having fun, it's a waste of time (You have no idea how much it hurt me to type that. )

My heart sunk a little bit with that statement.

My heart suck a little bit with that statement.

I hope you mean sunk, I'd would be awful if your heart was sucking in your other organs.

Anyway, you should look into getting some of the SP engine(stated above). I understand what your position is, and I highly suggest you download redshark. Its completely free and lets you play with every card and test your decks with other people online.

-_- hahahah, didn't see that.

Ok, 4 Unown Q, no SP trainers beside Poke Turnis really bad. This needs some help. I made some changes. The rest are up to you. Look up one of the many Luxchomp articles the gym offers. And you'll find the strategy.

For your later reference, I suppose, I have edited both your list and your strategy.

My SP lists tend to be controversial, so I've tried to be conservative here, but once you get good enough to really tweak the list and know what you're doing, you will understand why.

===========================

2-2 Garchomp C Lv.X good
2-2 Luxray GL Lv.X good
[del]4 Sableye SF[/del] Luxchomp focuses on SP Pokemon, speed is paramount
2 Uxie +1 Lv. X - I strongly recommend playing the Lv. X in here, it is VERY helpful
1 Azelf
[del]1 Chatot G[/del] unnecessary
[del]4 Unown Q[/del] You only need one
1 Unown Q
1 Promo Toxicroak G
1 Dragonite FB/Ambipom G
1 Bronzong G the primary purpose of Unown Q and Bronzong G is to help you control your field; Unown Q allows you to have another Pokemon with free retreat (usually Uxie Lv. X) and help you better control who is active, and Bronzong G lets you move energy around so you can better control what attacks. With a deck that moves as quickly as Luxchomp (and needs as much energy), that energy movement is VITAL. Dragonite/Ambipom and Toxicroak are used for knocking out opposing Garchomp Cs and Luxray GLs, respectively, which is VERY important as well.

Luxchomp's trainer line is critical to its success, you have to understand the workings and purpose of every one of your trainers - you can get away with half-heartedly throwing in energy and even pokemon, but trainers are game breakers

[del]4[/del] 1 Bebe's Search you only need one, maybe two at most.
4 Pokemon Collector good, 3 is popular too
[del]4 Seeker[/del] Totally unnecessary when you have Poke-Turn instead
[del]1 Copycat[/del] Not that this is necessarily a bad play, PONT is preferred, but I am being conservative
[del]3 E-Belt[/del] If you play Belt you would probably only play one or two, but that's not so common as far as I am aware
1 Luxury Ball good
[del]4[/del] 1 Communication I think 1 is standard now?
[del]3[/del] 1 Premier Ball Yes, you run lots of Pokemon Lv. X, but you don't need THAT much...
[del]1 Level Max [/del] I know it's hard to believe but this is actually a bad card
4 Poke Turn
3 Power Spray
3 SP Radar
3 Energy Gain
4 Cyrus' Conspiracy
1 Aaron's Collection Do NOT underestimate the power of the SP Trainer set. Without it, Luxchomp is absolutely useless. There are all of these cards meant to for use with SP Pokemon - USE THEM. Don't even bother with the deck unless you have all of these.

4 DCE good
[del]4[/del] 2 :lightning: Energy one or two at most
[del]3 Rescue Energy[/del] good card yes, good play probably not - Luxchomp does not have this kind of room
1 Psychic Energy Promocroak needs it, Azelf can attack with it but that's worst case scenario
4 Call Energy So helpful. So helpful in everything that uses Colorless energy. All the time.

Strategy: It's a basic Luxchomp deck strategy.

And this is what Luxchomp's strategy is.

You start out the game as blazingly, explosively fast as possible. Don't worry about setup. Don't worry about getting your Lv. Xs out. That will all come in time. From your very first turn, you should be scanning the field, hunting for the weak and vulnerable so you can knock them out immediately. Luxchomp thrives on first and second turn knockouts, using its insane speed to put the opponent at a disadvantage from the beginning.

Once you've tilted the board you can "worry about setup" a little more. But your primary focus in the entire game should be grabbing the cards you need to make that next knockout, every turn. If you can't take a prize at LEAST every other turn with Luxchomp, you're either facing a masterfully played anti-SP deck, or you are running the deck wrong.

Oh. Also. Don't underestimate the amazingness of Power Spray. Most decks thrive on early game Uxies, and spraying opposing Galactic Switches, Level Downs, Set Ups, Bright Looks, etc. can turn the game around.

Please note that this list has about 6-7 open spaces. Those are spaces that are really down to what your own style is, what cards your ability dictates you should run. Mewtwo or Machamp counters? Additional SP support? Mirror advantages such as Twins or Cynthia's Feelings? It's all up to you bro.

=================

I wanted to add that I was once in the same position as you. I was testing some decks for CCs last year, and I decided to throw together Blazeray to test against because I happened to have the cards for it, and I had heard it was popular. I all but netdecked a list, basically - added in some weird stuff like Weavile G - and played it against my own deck a few times. It took me about three games to go "...Wait, holy crap, this WORKS. Really, really well. This is ridiculous, why haven't I been playing this the whole time?"

Been a decently competitive player ever since then, that was kind of a turning point.
