LV.X and the previous forms

Sorry if this has been posted already, I searched through like 40 pages but to no avail. Anyways my question is:

Can a LV.X use the attacks from its basic or Stage 1 form if you leveled up from a Stage 2? Or is it just from the Stage 2 (the previous level)?

Because if you could, I was wondering what happens if you used rare candy? Would you be able to use the attacks of the Stage 1, even though it's not there?

No. A Level X can only use the attacks and Powers/Bodies from the previous level, not previous stages.

On the second point, if you had a Memory Berry attached, for example, that allows the use of attacks from previous stages, you can only use what is there.
After all, let's say you had leveled up a Piplup into an Empoleon.
Which Prinplup would you use?
There are multiple versions.
How would anyone know what attacks there were to copy, anyway? Take your word for it?
Nope. You can only use what's there, if you have something to use previous stage attacks, that is.
