Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Machamp 1st edition price

Now, if it's a shadowless first-edition Machamp, it may be worth more, but the "regular" first-edition Machamp was included in all 2-Player Starter Sets. (Interestingly, if I recall correctly, you couldn't get Machamp from Base Set booster packs in the regular run.)

When first edition base set cards first came out, all were Shadowless with the 1st Edition logo. However, one card (Machamp) could not be obtained in packs, only in the Starter set. This made him much more widespread than the regular holos in the set. When 1st Edition Base Set cards became Unlimited (Not Shadowless-Unlimited) the shadow effects were added to the Machamp in the new starter decks, however, for some reason, the 1st Edition symbol was not removed. So basically, The Shadowless Machamp and the non-shadowless versions tell you whether it's from the 1st Edition or Unlimited Edition era, but the symbol itself doesn't effect the value. Either way, they were in the Starter Decks, so while the Shadowless version is worth slightly more, they were both widespread and not worth more than maybe 6 bucks. Hope this helps!

*repeats what the others have said* and adds:

If you have one without the first edition symbol, it would be worth substantially more.
