It's called Hurricane Punch. If you can't KO them with Take Out you go with Hurricane Punch or something else. Take out is not the only thing that makes Machamp what it is. It has a total of four attacks when Leveled Up.
 
I counter your argument with this statement:

I attach an energy and an energy gain and attack for 90 damage between turns you take 10 damage. you might KO me but by the time its my turn again I KO you and you have yet to set up another Machamp with enough energy to do damage because I once again have Toxicroak G as my active pokemon. this continues but for every two pokemon I take out you only take out one because of your inability to set up as fast as I do.
 
Using hurricane punch as an arguement is terrible.
It doesnt even deal base damage, you have to FLIP your way to victory.
 
I honestly think Machamp will still see play. There's a lot of it in my area... A lot. Most of them have ways of dealing with G decks, and Regigigas is by far one of the most popular decks here. None of the decks are straight Machamp, there's usually other lines in them.
 
there is a clear difference between seeing play and winning. Machamp isn't going to win, just see play

Haha, true enough. I agree it won't win, but that's a matter of opinion. I'm sure the individuals actually playing Machamp for themselves think differently than the two of us. :p
 
toxicroaks can kill it with just 1 nrg. sure machamps have other atks that can kill it, but they take more nrg and machamp itself is stage 2. if u lvl it up, even worse, 60 + 40 weakness + 60 = 160 dmg = ohko. even if will power kicks in, the poison dmg will finish him off anyway.

to think that a commonly used basic with 1 nrg can kill a stage 2 lv X is not something u would want to invest ur money in. they'll yield good performance, but not good enough to beat the top dawgs
 
What happens to a G deck if they start out with anything but Toxicroak and no unown g? KO the basic with take out, they bring out Toxi attack 100 with weakness and poison, level up machamp 100 for one energy then they ko you nxt turn. Machamp is then up one prize. its kinda like 60/40, maybe 60.5/39.5. :thumb:

a) Toxitank OHKOs a Lv. X'd Machamp.
b) Take Out does NO damage to a Toxicroak.
 
i remembered that there was a reason why i was thinkin to my self "i hav to attack toxi with 2 energy." k so attach an energy and get at least one heads with hurricane punch
 
Have we reached an agreement on whether or not Machamp and Toxicroak can K.O. each other yet?

On a completely un-Champ-related side note, Mewtwo Lv.X can happily K.O. Pokemon after Pokemon until they level up Dialga G, in which case you use Giga Burn the following turn to K.O. Dialga G Lv.X. If you leveled Mewtwo up fast enough, it won't have any damage, and there are not very many SP Pokemon that can OHKO Mewtwo Lv.X as of DP-PT.

Gigaburn does not OHKO Dialga G X.

They wouldn't let it sit active for a turn, or even two.
 
^ Run Miasma Valley, then. You could play PokeBlower. You might even be able to just use Warp. It was just an example. (Darn that pesky Resistance.)
