Machamp SF vs. Regigigas with unown G

Hi,

I was wondering, if I had Regigigas Lv.X out with an unown G attached, and my opponent used take out on Machamp SF, would it knock it out still? and if it didn't, would it do the 40 damage? It isn't an evolved pokemon AND unown G prevents effects, so does it do nothing?
