Mag+Darkrai?

Eh, I've been thinking about this idea, and I thought of throwing in Darkrai and GE Houndoom into a Mag deck. Houndoom discards fire energy and Dark powers em up+stalls, then clean up w/ Mag. Could this possibly work?

If anyone replies no, state a reason or it will be deleted as spam.

Didn't you already post this??? And what happened to all of the "No" answers???

no it wouldn't work

its like trying to give bill bonds more steroids, it isn't needed and takes more time/resources then it is worth.

Better, prime? ;x

I did state a reason but I'll say it again.

It won't work because both darkrai and magmortar need a lot of eneryg accelaration to be good and darkrai needs just dark and magmortar needs just fire. On top of the fact that both cards need there own energy and a lot of them houndoom needs a constant supply of energy for it to keep attacking so you can't power up a darkrai or magmortar. Also there are a lot of pokemon lines so it will be very slow to get set up.

I know some one who uses a Darkrai in MagKiss. It works pretty well. Load up a Magmortar on your Bench while stalling them with Darkrai Lv.X's Sleep. Togekiss justs speeds things up a bit. However, I don't know about Houdoom. Like Blaziken 1111 said, it needs a consistent flow of Energy to keep it attacking. That means that you're only attaching 1 Energy a turn to Mag, instead of 2, and that's IF you get everything set up. Also, Houdoom is kind of a free Prize for Gallade, and Gardevoir ruins Firestarter. So, no, I don't think it would work.

How about Darkrai alone? It requires some dark energy, but Roseanne's can fix that, so would it work?

I need a use for my Darkrai right now...

I have a personal agenda with all the darkrai decks out there. Darkrai is slow without a good energy accelerator namely weavile. Togekiss fails. Anything that could be added to the darkrai/weavile combo fails. Your combo doesn't really work because the don't really work together.

In Mag, you want as much fire as possible. In Darkrai, you want as much darkness as possible. See the issue?

As I see it, the only thing really wrong with Darkrai on its own is that it's so very easy to kill. The fact that it's x2 Weak to fighting only makes it worse.
