The way to play this deck is to load up magmar while sacrificing a growlithe or other basic pokemon.
Also when magmortar is about be k.o.ed use Arcanine's Flame Dash to counter it.

I like the Mag/Arc combo, but drop the Infernape and add in an extra Arcanine and some SSU's

it say magAPE. i think the monkeys are in there for a reason. drop something though. either monkey ,lava creature, or fire dog.
