Well with both palkia ex and plasma magnazone both have attacks that do a good amount of damage and they both go back to the bench. So you can attack bring up a pokemon that might mess up your opponent to the active spot then retreat then attack with plasma magnazone or palkia ex again. No doubt magnazone does more damage but it can be harder to set up and it dosent take's up so much room in your deck. But with magnazone you can play two supporter cards a turn. But what you can do is have a magnazone deck and splash a palkia ex in it both of these cards will have amazing future potential in bw on format in late 2014 because of the amount of techs they will have then. Here are some key cards and techs for both of these type's decks.

Skyarrow bridge stadium card. If your pokemon you send up to the active spot has a one retreat cost you can free retreat with that pokemon.

Float stone. If the pokemon you send up to the active spot has more than one retreat cost you can free retreat it if it has float stone attached to it. It may be a bad thing to just run this card and no sky arrow bridge because tool scrapper can take these off..

Keldeo ex. You can have float stone attached to keldeo ex and just keep using its ability then free retreat it.

Deoxyes ex. This card can make palkia ex and plasma magnazone do more damage because of deoxyes ex ability.

Plasma snorlax. When plasma snorlax is in the active spot your opponent can not retreat. But they can use pokemon catcher or switch to negate this effect. This tech is better with magnazone because when you switch out your oppoent switch's out also so it may not be nice for your opponent.

Ghetsis. This card can get rid of any trainer card in your opponent's hand so this can help battle against pokemon catcher's and other deadly trainer cards. But i prefer to use this card with a magnazone deck because you can use the card N then hopefully draw a ghetsis out of the cards you get then use ghetsis. Or you could possible count the amount of cards in your opponents hand then use skla then ghetsis.

Latias ex. You can send Latias ex to the active spot and pokemon with abilities will not effect laties ex and it only has a one retreat cost.

Gothitelle. When this card is in the active spot your opponent cant use any trainer cards. This tech is best a palkia ex deck because you will be struggling to have enough room in a plasma magnazone deck. This card is going to be rotated soon but its coming back in the reprint set or in another set.

Max potion. If the pokemon you send up to the active spot is damaged you can use max potion on it to heal the damage off of it.

The dragon type alteria. This can increase palkia ex attack by twenty damage.

The dragon's exalted sigilyth. This pokemon cant be effected or damaged by pokemon ex. So you can send that to the active spot.

Zekrom kyurem Reshiram or kyurem ex plasma blast. All these cards have the attack out rage. Out rage does twenty damage and ten more for each damage counter on it. So you can attack with one of these instead of plasma magnazone or palkia ex.

silver bangle. When this card is attached to a pokemon it cant be effected or damaged by team plasma pokemon. But only pokemon that are not an ex can hold this. So this would be good to attach to gothitelle sigilyth and plasma magnazone....this card may have a different name in the future.

Darkri ex. You can have free retreat with darkri ex if that pokemon has a dark energy attached to it. I would only really play this with a live alone palkia ex deck because it wont do good energy wise with magnazone.

Black kyurem with crystal wall. sending to the active spot black kyurem with crystal wall attached to it can be very amazing to send to the active spot. But crystal wall can be tool scrapped off and you must have darkri ex in the deck or keldeo with float stone on it to be able to retreat it for free. And remember you can use max potion on this card.

Rocky helmet or rock guard. The pokemon you send to the active spot can have one of these attached to it and when your active pokemon gets damage your opponent takes damage to. Max potion is great with this card.

Unlike in the video games, being able to attack and switch at once isn't much use in the TCG unless there is a specific active locking ability you want to abuse. (Like Gothitelle) Seeing as this strategy is already used by accelgor/goth decks you are going to have to compare Magne/Palkia to Accelgor. (who, btw, outclasses them both since it para) Even if you want to try something else in the active position (like a Flygon or Snorlax) you have to remember that every good deck runs about 4 Catchers so it becomes a really ineffective strategy. Magnezone and Palkia may have their merits but bouncing around doesn't seem to be one of them.

Well right now i have a magnazone deck and it works well. But gothitelle wont be that good when verizion ex and genosect ex comes out. Not saying this does good against genosect but it would still do good against it.. And there also audino out there also. I wouldnt say this is out classed by that deck. Gothitelle lock does good now but it wont do good later. Gothitelle lock only really starts working well when your down to 3 cards also in your deck.

palkia ex looks interesting instead of darkrai plasma promo in that togekiss deck pliskin, as it can take advantage of both altaria +20 and deoxys ex +10 to dam, darkrai ex can be teched in for free retreat to what you switch to and virizion ex for stat protection and dark and grass share the same blend so they are easy techs, plus grass covers part of palkia's second healing attack which maxes out at 80 self healing but will likely be averaging 20-40 heal.

Yea plasma darkri could work also...but there no alteria for it.....Hey another tech i didnt think of at the time is stoutland. When its active your opponent cant play any supporter cards.
