2 Night Maitenance
2 Expert belts
1 Luxury ball
1 Premier Ball

Stadiums: 2
2 Broken Time Space

Energy
Special:
4 Call Energy
4 Double Colorless Energy

Non Special:
4 Electric Energy
2 Metal Energy

Strategy: The strategy is to get out a Magnezone as fast as possible. I get a spiritomb on bench then gyro ball every turn trainer locking them. and putting you to I advantage. The Metal energy is for his Level X attack. Nidoqueen is to heal him every turn and just incase if Im running low on health I can just send another magnezone in and let this one heal. The searcher Magnezone is to search out for my electric pokemon every turn so i can get more magnezones out on bench. Call Energy is for start of game as always. DCE is for Gyro ball. I may add a Psychic energy so nidoqueen can attack but I dont know yet. Conductive quarry is to get my energy for the Level X attack. This seems like a competitive deck, and it did good at states today lol

Sounds like fun! Personally, I despise Conductive Quarry. Did you ponder something like... (TOtally optional, but it's a thought.)

- 1-0-1 Nidoqueen
+ 1-1 Heatran/X
- 2 Conductive Quarry
+ 1 Broken Time Space
+ 1 Premiere Ball
Then you stall until you can get the Heatran out there?

Same strategy, almost. Though you would definitely need to watch out for (and possibly mod your deck against) the dreaded Heatran start. I'd start by using the Pop pack Heatran which can body slam for 2 colorless. You'd also need switches... Ok, so it might hurt a bit too much to bother with. Worth a suggestion, I suppose.

If you don't do that:
I would definitely swap at least two Psychic energy in somehow. I don't know if you need the expert belts? I still hate the quarry, but I will concede its usefulness late game if you have no Heatran.

Nidoqueen is a beast of an attacker when need be, especially with DCE already floating around. Against most decks these days, that's 80+ damage for two energy cards.

change the magnezone to 2 SF=6 and 1 DP and also drop the onductive quarry for 2 Mr Mime so that you actually stand a good chance against Gyarados and SP.

alrighty then sounds good. Ill find some way to get in some Psychic energys and Ill take out conductive quarry for 2 Mr. Mimes.

I love Electric/Metal decks and played this deck yesterday for States and went 3-3 (two of my losses were to Top Cut players, one using Shuppet and one using Palkia Lock). Suggestions:

1. Consider a TS-2 devoluter--all you have to do is do 50 to Gyrados even with an extra belt attached and next turn, devolute for the kill!

2. 4 Spiritombs for consistency and increasing the chance of a Spiritomb start.

3. 2 Warp Energies because in my area (northern NJ), every other deck has Luxray Level X so they keep bright looking up your Claydol.

4. Consider switching the 4 DCE with 4 Special Metal--Read Magnezone cards carefully (it surprised all my opponents yesterday)--you can move around and get from the discard pile, Regular and Special Metal Energies!

Good luck with the deck; it's fun to play although if it only were a little faster and more powerful, still only a tier 2 tournament deck at best for now.

ok then. Idk what to do right now. Gyrados wont be a problem with Mr. Mime so no worries there. So no Devoluter. Im also super effective if there is no level X lol.
I feel 4 is overkill... As long as i get a call energy Ill be good lol.
I also feel DCE is better. I can get a turn 2 gyro ball so it makes it harder for them to set up lol. When they bright look up my claydol Im sure they will kill it lol. If so then i just need to get another one out lol. I may put a call energy on Spiritomb or rosseanes for Baltoy then just evolve it again with Darkness grace.

I may need to add Unown G though lol. Too many Powers. May lose to gengar... If they set up.

If you want to be able to attack w/Queen use 1-2 rainbow energy. You heal the damage off anyway and you can move it with Magnet X.

Having faced two Gyrados decks at States, be aware that they can use Pokemon Rversal, Luxray Bright Look, or Regice all to move your Mr. Mime out of the active position. I would consider the Devoluter if you have an extra spot (don't forget it also could potentially prevent Gengar fainting spell if you devolute to Haunter with 80 damage on Gengar).

Just a thought.

ok you have a great point and Ill have to look into it a bit more. I was thinking about gengar the other day before I went to sleep. I will try to find room, and I did not think about the pokemon reversals.....

You need Mime Jr in order to make Mr Mime's Airy Wall Poke'body work. -1 Mime +1 Mime Jr.
My friend ran Magnezone lock with Heatran X and it was really good. If I didn't flip heads with a well timed SSU and happen to be playing Rampardos that day I would have lost. Try it out.
