Magnezone Lv.x

If I have a multi and a basic metal energy attached to magnezone lv.x and I use it's attack cyber shock. Could I just discard the multi or do I have to discard both.

You have to discard two energy.
While the Multi provides both colors, it's still only one energy.
So, you would have to also discard the Metal to meet the attack requirement.
