McCain supporter attacked - Found to be a HOAX

...That's probably because unlike anything with "General Electric" or "New York Times" attached to its label, Fox News at least attempts something that resembles objective reporting.

As for the B? Well, his first name is Barack, isnt it?

Your title is extreeeeemely misleading from the point of this article... either way, only idiots drive with stickers on their car, that is in fact just asking for something to happen

You'd almost think the fanatacism would go the other way, given the shouts of "kill him" and claims of "he's an Arab" that certain McCain supporters have provided in the past few weeks!

My dad gets cases sometimes where some idiot listens to too much pundit radio then starts stalking and assaulting people who work for certain campaigns. In the interest of not making some type of partisan issue out of this, I'm not going to say which side did it to whom. Some people just take politics too far =\

Apparently, there is shaky evidence of the "kill him" chants. However, it's safe to assume that out of thousands of people, one person at any rally for any candidate will scream "kill such-and-such!"

In other news, Karl Rove nearly got handcuffed by Code Pink. I lulled.

Violence like this simply isn't acceptable. I don't think that it's safe to assume that "one person" at any rally will scream "kill...." That's not a normal or acceptable thing either.

Well that is a shame if it is true... but it really sounds like a publicity stunt.

My local Republican building was vandalized I heard on the news. There were bb gun holes in the window. They said earlier this year someone smashed a window in. Another time someone sprayed on the wall "Bush lies people die." Well, that one was pretty funny, especially since it stayed up for awhile without any effort of removing it (It wasn't too big, but it stood out).

But it is a shame that people do this pointless stuff that doesn't do anything but encourage violence.

Is it not safe to assume that one person out of thousands is severely impaired, mentally unstable, or both?

Think about any big giant gathering you've ever been to. If you listened hard, I'm sure you heard "someone" say something like that.

Sounds like the assailant was on a "task from God."

Note the sarcasm ;x

No, but honestly I don't wholly believe the story. I could attack someone, see the sticker on their car, and continue attacking. That doesn't mean I'm attacking them because they're a McCain supporter.

..And I drive with an Obama sticker on my car in the heart of McCain country in GA. Nobody's mugged/killed me yet ;x

why was the 'B' _backwards_...as it would be if someone did it themselves while looking into a mirror? why refuse a medical exam?

even michelle malkin thinks this has problems passing the 'is this legit?' test...

now we are attacking people because we aren't voting the way someone else is?
I thought any kind of threat of ways someone votes was illegal.

I have a McCain sticker on my car while I'm out in Iowa right now. Iowa is Obama country this year. I haven't been attacked, but that might be because I also have a 2nd amendment sticker on my car. =)

There have been many signs vandalized in this "red state" of TN for Obama. Some just outside of polling locations. Why do that? If you dont like a candidate, vote agst them. Tell folks why to vote for X. No need to vandalize though.
