Have Yanmega and start spreading by T2. The Yanmegas should hopefully be your only attacker during the whole game. Search for Ampharos(PL) if your opponent plays Claydol or SP with Skuntank with important role, or any other deck that depends on powers, by playing him, no powers can be played. If your opponent doesn’t play a deck with powers, search for the other Ampharos(SW) to stop the use of supporters(or make them more risky to use). Whenever you see a chance, drop spiritomb for extra damage. And play Miasma for extra damage too. The goal is of course to have both the Ampharos on the bench at the same time, to stop both powers and supporters. Since you don’t need any supporter for your main-attacker, put down your energies on Ampharos(SW). It can be useful lategame, and you have no other place to put the energies, so why not?
If you are facing an opponent with a lot of rare candies, or someone who plays nidoqueen, try to get the TS-2… (if you let Nidoqueen survive, it’s this deck’s auto-loss)
I know spread is quite hard to play against all different types of SP-decks right now, with high HP and the fact that they are basic. But stopping their powers makes me believe this deck have a small chance even though it's a bad match-up. I would be glad to hear your opinions about this deck so that I can make it even more consistent!
