There is alot of speed in this deck. If I start out with a steel beldum, I can flip a coin and if heads get another one. If I start out with a psychic beldum, I can use it's attack and search my deck for any basic and put it on my bench. If I start out with wynaut, I can search for any basic or evolution pokemon. Alot of searching really. I have strength charm in the deck for the quick 50 to any pokemon using metagross EX. I have Anceint TM [Rock] because it is so great and could cause a KO if I had pulled in a pokemon and hit them for 40/50 the turn before. I put in only 2 stevens advice because after playing it some, I found that it was very reliant on how many pokemon your opponent had out in play. Early game, it will be better to use a TV reporter or a oak's research. Magnetic storm is for when I attack with wobuffet or the regular metagross. Don't like psychic resistance!

Critique and Evaluate!

[Update 1]
I really thought Jirachi was a needed card in this deck, maybe even needed more than a early attacker. So I decided to take out the wynaut and wobbuffet and run 3 jirachi. Now, if I start out with any of the bases of metagross, I can search for it. Using the steel one, if I flip a heads, I could actually warp point it to the bench and send up jirachi and evolve it first turn. Then for the next few turns keep evolving. Sure, they get one prize, but I get extra speed.--edit--With the gym in my deck, I think that gives wobbuffet a huge advantage over gardevior EX. No weakness is my friend and I'm attacking second turn maybe against his gardevior EX hitting it for 90 a whack. So I took out a psychic energy, a tv reporter and a strength charm and a jirachi and put in a 2/2 line of wynaut/wobbuffet.

Also, I don't know why I was running magnetic storm. Psychic resistance isn't that common. I rather have no weakness on my non-ex pokemon! That way gardevior EX has a harder time of knocking it out. Now that I have the gym, it gives me an advantage against gardevior EX.

I forgot to put in rare candy but found some room to do so. Four wasn't needed IMHO, but 3 was good. Especially if I have only one of the middle stage in my prizes. I still believe that the ATM[Rock] is a staple in all my decks, but hey that is my opinion.

[Update 2]
After much concentration and many ideas from the people of this board, I decided to replace one Oak's Research with one Steven's Advice. I used to think that it wouldn't as well because people wouldn't get a full bench out fast. But I remember that my only experience with the card was in the prerelease and thus it made sense that nobody could get out a full bench really fast. But unlike booster drafts, there are cards like wynaut, dunsparce and wurmple that stack the bench up and thus would help out those who play steven's advice.

Also, I took out 2 DRE for 2 Rainbow Energy. I remembered that only my metagross, wobbuffet, and metangs could use them. And that I might have to rely on steel energy on metagross EX, so this way, I have 6 regular metal, and 2 double metal if I need it on my metagross/wobbuffet.

I've heard that the best help you can get is from yourself. I'll help you help yourself.

I never looked at wynaut before but GOSH DARN! It is so broken! Goodbye dunsparce in ANY psychic deck.

Here's a spoiler for all those that don't know what it does. Go get a bunch of pokemon and put them on your bench. YES...

Wait...you didn't test the deck...the cards aren't even officially out yet...HAhaHAhaHAhaHA...erm, sorry. Good day!

Prime/Jason loving aside, here's my take on the deck. Why not throw one-two Jirachis in there for tech? With all that basic pulling, I don't see why not you couldn't take advantage of T1 Beldum---->Jirachi, then use switch or something to get that T1 Metang, and the inevitable T2 Metagross. Now, there's also a lot of other possibilities to ponder. For example, how cool would a T2 Metagross be? Very cool, I say! For this reason, maybe DRE could actually be useful? *world ends*

If you don't try to go for a "turbogross" strategy, then my suggestion is that you just play two of the regulars. Unlike Blaziken,Gardevoir, and Swampy, where pulling multiples could make or break your game, you only need 1 normal Meta to be successful, and since you're playing psychic, they'll be hard-pressed to bex you easily. You, however, can turn hundreds of damage back at anything he sends, save maybe Rayquaza ex.

Patriarch: I was thinking about putting those in and decided to stick with wobbuffet, but yeah, it's a great idea. I can grab it with either of the beldum, or the wynaut. Thanks for the tips and I will definitely take that into consideration.

WHERE'S THE RARE CANDY?!?!?!?
Maybe I missed the reason you weren't playing it, but w/e. ATM Rock is not sooooo big of a threat that you should stop playing Rare Candy. Actually, I think you might want to try to get out a turn 2 Metagross ex dragging stuff out. For that, you need Prof. Elm's Training Method.
ehem, I would:
-1 Psychic Energy
-3 PokeNav (just personal preference, and I couldn't find anything else to take out but you still need Candy AND PETM, IMO)
-1 Metang
-1 Metagross
-1 Magnetic Storm or ATM Rock or something
+4 Rare Candy
+3 Prof. Elm's Training Method

That's about how I would play it.

..Fiziks..

Physics: You know, I seem to always forget the rare candy. I forgot to put it in the deck in my last deck post. Sorry, it wasn't intentional, just a mistake. Prof. Elm's Training Method is good, but as I posted at the top, this is a RS-On deck. So no oracle or PETM. If I have 3 of the middle stage, and only four of the bottom stage, why have four rare candies? I don't understand your logic behind it. I'm only going to evolve four times at most, and if odds are with me, two or are going to be using rare candy and 2 are going to be using the middle stages. Why have two left over rare candy? Thanks for the idea, and I will definitely add in rare candy, but I don't think IMO I need four of them. I guess with all this good advice, I need to update the deck.

[Check Above]

Sorry, I didn't realize it was RS-on. My mistake. So no PETM. But the reason you'd play 4 Rare Candy is the same reason your deck has 4 Beldums but 6 Metagross/ex. It makes it easier to get your stage 2's out. Well, without PETM, there isn't really any way to get a turn 2 meta ex without just having the cards in your hand. Oh well. But you could play Wally's. I dunno. I would still play 4 Rare Candy in any case.

If I were you, I would consider that other stadium that heals all special conditions when you attach an energy, just in case you find triple crobat :) . Metagross rules, but an early crobat hurts it badly.

regice froze you: Crobat is SO awesome! I totally agree but I tell ya, I'll take the 30 a turn rather than tech in a gym. Just too hard to tech in everything for every single little deck.

Physics Squirrel: One of the reasons I don't run 4 Rare Candy is because of the new TM. If people don't play the rock TM, then they are stupid because it will stop early quick evolving such as with rare candy. It will slow down your opponent HUGELY if all they run is rare candy and like 1 of the middle stage. I made a pact to run 2 in every deck I make just because of it's greatness. Also, it seems to work good with metagross EX aswell. I mean, hit this for 40, hit that for 40, hit this for 50, hit that for 40, rock TM, 1-3 prizes.

Prime, you do remember that you have to switch out Metagross ex for a non-ex to use the TM.
A good strategy none the less, but keep that in mind.

Yeah I know, but that is why 8 of my pokemon can use it.

Edit: I updated my deck, take a look and give some critiques.
