Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Metagross POTF, whats it good with?

yeah, but that takes up to much bench space, metagross can just be a 1-0-1 tech. i can see this coming up in flygon to get more OHKO's with power swing.

There is a Honchkrow that would work well.
Take a basic from the discard pile. Take off 20 HP.
Then use the Lv X's attack to do 40 damage to it. Kills everything with 60HP or less.

Only problem is Honchkrow then bocomes rather fragile.

That's true but crobat is easy searchable and doesn't reduce your own gengar's HP with 20 points.

yeah, but what gengar player is afraid of gengar dieing? infact isnt him dieing more helpful sometimes, now it makes your opponent rly think twice before killing him esp with all the high damage outputs from decks now aday will give you less time to get around fainting spell b/c most your damage is way too high you'll be ohko'ing him and he'll be getting those fun heads for the ohko giving him the free prize.

Here's a crazy idea, how about nidoqueen donk? it can donk anything with 60 hp or less and it isn't as much affected by the body because of the healing going on. Play it with some crobats or even Gallade and to add in spread...

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Oo! another one GG! Gardevoir LV.X knocks the pokemon out with the lowest Hp right. well play your deck with high hp pokes and just bring down everything that your opponent throws at you. Maybe even play some unown E or something...

it can also be used to kill gengar and get around fainting spell say you leave a gengar with 10 hp left and have it poisoned (i use this as a situational moment only) and nidoqueen is sitting on bench so poison is canceld out, just drop the metagross and bam KO right there. you just avoided fainting spell.

Miasma Vall + This + Torterra SF

Oh gawd. Bench a basic? Did you remember to put those 4 damage counters on it and reduce its hp by 20?

Yayay Torterrible tech!

This makes no sense. Would you rather you Gengar OHKO'd or 2HKO'd? You end up activating fainting spell anyway, but with the 2hko Gengar gets another attack in.
