Mew and Gengar Prime

If I have a Gengar in the Lost zone, with Mew active, am I allowed to use Gengars attack Hurl Into Darkness even though the attack states the sychic: energy must be attached to Gengar?

Cards from before Black & White always use their own name instead of the text "this Pokemon".
When an attack like that is copied, you treat it as if it says "this Pokemon".

So the energy attached to Mew counts.
