Midnight Draft at Origins!

We'll have the product for this draft.

I have been assured of support by PUI, so, I will have the cards for you all to draft.

My set preference is, in order, ...

1. Emerald (wild card, but new sets are soo groovy)

2. FireRed/LeafGreen (good set, good drafting set)

3. Deoxys...

4. Everything Else.

As for price and the like, those will all be TBA. I will be getting my professor coat after 9:00 on Thursday, so I will be easy to find...


And...yeah, for you sadists who like to really be there all night, if I get at least 12 for the regular draft and 12 Rochesters, we will do both (separate sanctioned events)...of course it will be impossible to play in both...

I am filling out our origins registration form. Does it make sense to pre-pay for any of the $$ events (ie drafts etc.), or can we just pay as we go for the events.

My sense is to just get our badges, and pay as we go for $$ events. Right?
 
I think I'll prepay for the events on Friday, since it is definitely on our schedule. I'd hate to pre-pay for the side event on Sunday, then have one of us end up in the National's play-offs. Origins appear to have a very strict no-refunds policy.

It best to preregister for the events. The line for the event signup is so long days and run atleast 2-3 hours at a time depending where you are.

Plus you can pay for the event there,you need tickets you buy from the event signup.

Buy a load of generic tickets. You can get them refunded on Sunday before the Con closes, around 3PM I think, but am unsure. Pre-registration just makes sure that you've paid for the event, not actually registered for it. You still have to check in with the GM/Game HQ for your specific game before the event starts.
 
If possible to stay up that late LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL .Everyone in Memphis for Emerald Knows why...

I love drafts so i'll be there...

NOTE: Disapointed there are no unlimted events this year, the best match i ever played was an unlimited event last year at origins.
 
OK, Team Rocket will be there with minions. We will catch you when you are sleepy and steal your pokemon :biggrin: ......Juan, I wish you were there.......and Joe, you didn't like the TA/TM draft we did last year :rolleyes:

Okay, is this going to be held in the CCG place like i expect? and are we gonna pay cash or tickets? =.

Usually these late night drafts are sponsored by PUI, so they are less expensive than a normal draft (meaning PUI kicks in some product, making it easier and cheaper on us all)

If they don't, I will still have product left over, so, CHAW!!!
