Came across this when I was looking at the new Milotic ruling...
Q. Say my opponent has Dark Ampharos, and I use Milotic with "Energy Shower". Can I have Energy Shower remove the damage AFTER Dark Ampharos' "Darkest Impulse" places a counter on Milotic?
A. No, Energy Shower happens first. You, as the current player, resolve all of your effects first. Then, your opponent resolves all of his or her effects. (Dec 2, 2004 PUI Rules Team)
I thought whoever's Pokemon was being affected gets the choice of what happens first. Or am I confusing that with other scenarios, like between-turn stuff?
I just want to be clear on this, since I play Dark Amphy, and lots of people in my League play Milotic. XD
