Strategy: do lots of damage with Mewtwo. When your opponent brings out its own mewtwo, then use RDL to take 3 prizes with one attack.

Can see the idea but not sure how it will work. Being that your energy accelerator is a Stage 2, which can be
very slow compared to a lot of decks in the format now but this how I would maybe play it...

4 Mewtwo ex......Legend lol
1 Cleffa ......maybe not ideal start....but running a Stage 2 could come in handy with set up.
1 Shaymin UL.....damaged Mewtwo.....switch all energy onto the next one before a knock out.
1 Shaymin ex.....great tech and can hit a lot of damage if you go behind.

Energy 14
8 Fire

2 Rainbow..... For Shaymin ex, could possibly change for a grass, but maybe not going to be used every game but just in case with Mewtwo ex.

Trainers 31

4 Rare Candy........up the Candy get Emboar ASAP
3 Duall Ball......a lot quicker than Collector on its own since you only need Emboar and Mewtwo ex out
most of the time.

2 Cilian......grab Fire energys.....onto Mewtwo!

2 Super Rod......more choice over Energy Retrieval

Prefferably I'd like to get a Switch and Pluspowers in but this is just a rough idea.

Just get Emboar up.....set up Mewtwo ex and go for it.
Also consider N too. Maybe for Juniper. Since your attacking with an ex and will likely go behind in prizes.
Which will limit your oppz hand and then maybe sweep with Shaymin ex late game in some situations.

Quite like the look of this list lol....but not sure how it would play out??

RDL is actually great when played at the right time. 3 prizes off of one Mewtwo KO? Yes please!

I think SSU might be a better play in this case. You'll still have that damaged Mewtwo on your bench for an easy 2 prizes.

I don't really see it. If anything add a Reshiram or two.

If you're bent on keeping Shaymin EX, Prism is much more ideal.

Maybe drop to 2 and add in 2 N. This deck can be slow at times and N is a good disruption for when your opponent takes early prizes.

You really don't need both DB and Collector. Drop one for Switch. Anything involving Emboar needs Switch.
2 Super Rod......more choice over Energy Retrieval
ER is better because the energies go straight into your hand for you to attach.

Howbout my list, not the other guy's who completely missed the point of RDL?
Take 3-4 prizes with mewtwo, then RDL for the last ones.

You could also try Sage's Training with Fisherman. I am not up to date with this format, but hope this helps.
 
This deck is freaking awesome. I would play a 2-2 RDL though. I think that is a super important card in this deck.
 
poor opponents. I think this deck needs x4 Gold Catchers and x4 Tropical Beaches.

But seriously, any ideas for updates for a DEX format?
 
Where is Heavy Ball to grab Emboar faster?? Also, Ultra Ball helps on getting the Legend out. I know you have Twins, but ultimately if you get Mew2 Up, you won't be behind much.

I would use heavy ball, but it can't find the legend, or Mew2 for that matter. Ultra Ball would probably work better than Comm.

Twins is nice, cause I like the legend to be a bit of a surprise, and with Mewtwo giving up 2 prizes the trades go back and forth pretty evenly.
 
Isn't much more beneficial using twins as a RDL search rather then communication? Heavy ball can add slight more speed to the deck.

But that is what I ma trying to elude to.... Heavy Ball is what your focus is because your trying to setup Boars. Almost swarm style. RDL is for that Punch in the face when it is almost over. HB is definitely better than Comm if Boar is the focus. If you are trying for RDL, then Ultra is the way to go for sure. It really depends on your focus and intent!
