The "only" mini set we have received in the BW era is Dragons Vault(AKA Selection) and that was a Japanese mini set to begin with. Actually, as far as I know, we have never received a mini set at all before that have we?

Should have stayed on the other fourms. Very judgemental. And I am not new, very bad inferences. And why would they put the trainers in the next set. A mini set would be there best option and they could include cards that were taken by The Three Starter lines.

Pokebeach just has...like minded people.

Pokemon has their own ideas of marketing I guess...Would rather they be along the lines of what you're saying, but by no means is it going to happen for sure, and I'd say its unlikely.

Think buddy come on think. They have to give us the cards, they can't pile it into Plasma Gale, has to be put into a mini set. The light bulb will click its alright.

I had seen it on the Forums maybe as a joke. Sorry for my yet terrible assumption's. I do not lie. I have just thought that this would be a good decsion for them to put it in a Mini Set. Please put this as you signature if I am wrong in the end lol.

Remember that the "Shiny" set in Japan may not correspond to the same concept of "shininess" we have here. Pikapika-no caado just sounds kinda cute to me. (I dunno if that's actually how they wrote it, but the point is, common speculation says they're just cutesy cards in a mini set.)

Well it could end up as another DRV style mini set... since apparently TPCI is doing that now.

Hopefully it has some playable cards in it, and its not just more Beginning Set style fluff.

I'd call that 'sparkly' before I'd call it 'shiny'. Plus, in Japan, don't they call shiny Pokemon 'differently colored', or something? Anyone expecting shiny Pokemon is getting their hopes up. It sounds like a fanservice set showcasing Pokemon from the show. Might see a playable Meloetta, a Pikachu that would be kinda cool if we had a good Raichu in rotation... Most I'm hoping for is a few Trainers.

Actually, Shooty's Jalorda/Serperior and Adek's Buffron/Bouffalant might be kinda cool. Who knows.

Hey aren't they putting in FA Skyla, too? Giving us 3 FA Supporter cards. There's gonna be a lot of Full Arts in this set.

For a grand total of 9 Full Art cards. While the "robbery" of some great cards is a deafening blow to those of us who waited eagerly for them, the presence of other good cards in the set makes it hard to look away from it.

However I feel if they were gonna drop such important cards, they could've given us better placeholders.


Just a little fanboy note: wouldn't it be awesome if they made Roxie a Supporter? Just a thought :biggrin:

There is zero chance of the trainers or other cut cards being released in any sort of mini set. They're going to be used to boost the number of cards in our Plasma Gale set.

The problem is you have no precedence for believing these random cards will be released in a mini-set. Not only do you have no evidence, you have no reason to believe that. Pokemon has only released 2 "mini" sets before.
