Like the title says, this is a starter deck my friend gave me but kept the holo. I also have very little cards aside from stuff I got from friends who had duplicates. There's very few pokemon fans around here so no real chance at going against a challenging deck. So all that said, what do you guys think? Any chance it being a competitor in thehardcore pokemon world?

Professor Sycamore/Juniper are the best supporters in format, but since you are just starting out it may not be the best for your deck. I would try to get my hands on a few N's if you can, they were a league promo. Leagues are the best way to learn how to play and have fun I would look one up at pokemon.com and see if you can find one near by
