Here is the latest list of legal cards for the Modified Format. How the Modified Format works is that cards only from EX: Ruby and Sapphire and later are permitted. However you may use cards from older sets only if that card has been released in one of the legal sets. This list shows all legal cards in Modified. Note that older cards may have outdated text from their latest release. You must follow the most recent version of that card when playing it. This list has been updated for EX: Deoxys.

However the World Championship Decks Cards may be used for local language reference outside of your deck.

For more details see the Pokemon Floor Rules and the Tournament Formats documents on the Pokemon Organized Play website.

I am glad you all continue to appriciate this list. Also I like it how now I can post an image via article submission so this way I can give all of you the expansion symbol key now instead of describing what the symbols look like. However I will be working on making a more viable image that can fit onto the screen next time though.

We'll also be keeping the most current version of this on the Compendium Resourse page.

Very good job on this by the way. Would it be possible to get permission to use this list in a newsletter? It would be a great help to our readership, and I'd give credit to both Craig and the pokegym. Thank you very much for considering this.

Oh yeah! I am way okay with you redistributing this resource I think it is important to give players as much resource and clarification to the game as we can.

Thanks for your help guys. If you'd like a copy to confirm it let me know, and when the next issue is ready (should be before the 26th), I'll send you one.

just bumping this topic to ask if it was going to be updated for new modified anytime soon.

what do you mean farm it out?
if he/she doesn't decide to do it i'll gladly take time to do one myself and post it.
