Kyruem and Regigias EX

More 180 HP Basics... Kyruem is pretty bad in my opinion. I guess it can abuse DCE, but it seems like a worse version of Resh/Zek

'Gigas' First attack is interesting. Does 20 more damage for each number you choose. Then, does 20 damage for each of the number you chose to this Pokemon. [DEL]What on Earth is a number?[/DEL] Wow. fail by me

You probably can say 5 to do 100 more damage, while doing 100 to yourself

Only have time for a quick analysis...

I'm slightly disappointed by Kyurem EX, especially since the Red Collection Kyurem has so much going for it. The HP is impressive and 170-180 appears to be the standard for basic EX's now. It's a safe bet to assume stage 2 EX's will have >200 HP. Kyurem EX does fill a gap in the format, though, which lacks a hard hitting water type. Its purpose will be to supplement Kyurem/Feraligatr decks that have to KO a threat that turn, whereas otherwise you wouldn't be able to win through spread damage alone.

Regigigas EX looks amazing. It can set up turn 1 with DCE, Pachirisu and Shaymin and has no damage cap. If successful, it can easily get 2-3 KO's before going down, or simply be Super Scoop Up'd or Seekered to avoid a 2 prize loss. Mewtwo EX covers several Fighting types that would OHKO it, but Donphan isn't handled as easily. Maybe with Tornadus, as it can take advantage of all the other resources Regigigas EX can. Also, Eviolite and Defender to negate self damage from its first attack. States will be fun.

Regigigas has huge donk potential if I'm correctly interpretting the attacks effect. I assume with his first attack you can choose 4 and do 140 and 80 to yourself. The next turn you can use his Raging Hammer attack and do 130 damage.
 
Kyurem is terrible, but Reggigas looks really good, and seems to have a LOT of potential. I'm pretty excited for that one.
 
Kyurem is boring and underwhealming save for its obnoxious HP. This regigigas offers many new and interesting ways to play the game! Its energy costs feel fair and, with a little help, are reasonable when used with DCE. The first attack in conjunction with its HP makes a beautifully designed card. How far will you go to get a KO? How cautious will you be of getting revenge KO'd? Its second attack works perfectly to aid in the skillfulness of its first attack. Normally I am opposed to 180 HP on a basic, but this card feels like it was designed to be good around its high HP. There will certainly be players who just go for the revenge attack, but that doesn't show what gigas can truly do. Add some revival energies and Eviolite and you have a monster of a card! It will also make the opponent think how much they want to do to him if they can't 1-shot him. The numbers are beautiful as well. You'll take 80 damage KOing the first dragon and then you can revenge kill the next few as well. I expect to be playing with this guy trying him out... I'd expect to see some competitive play from him as well. Can't wait :) If this card gets popular, I can see people teching Blackbelt to mess with the Gigas player's math a bit. Even so, this guy is gonna be a MONSTER as he should be. Long live Gigas decks!

Gigas reminds me of Zekrom/Reshiram. Strong Basics, lots of health. And that "damage on me bonus" move. :/ Coin flip anyone?

I want a Mr Mime Ex hehehe
 
The actual translation makes the card mildly playable but boring. Translators ruined my fun... again D:
 
So, where'd this alternate translation come from? Until we hear something a bit more official, I'm assuming the initial (better) text is correct.

yeah both kyurem ex and regigigas ex look like possible techs of the deck idea i'm working on. kinda wish kyurems second attack was 1 less like mewtwo ex and reshi/zekrom, though its DCEable.

cetra I look forward to playing against you with your new regigigas.

if nothing else these basic ex's take a good 2-3 turns to ko, which means they are good dam shields while you build your stuff up
 
Something tells me Hatter's just trolling... Assuming he is, it's nice to see Regigigas living up to his name of RegiKick***. Imma pick 2 bajillion for the OHKO.

IMO I think they have such high HP because they are LEGENDARY EXs and not just your typical EX Basic. Like how Zekrom and Reshiram have 130 HP. My guess is that EX HPs are probably going to look something like this:

Legendary: 170-180
Basic: 120-130
Stage 1: 140-160
Stage 2: 170-190
Wailord: 250
